鯨海岸全套房酒店(Whale Coast All-Suite-Hotel - DCC Hotel Group)

Die perfekte Unterkunft um Hermanus zu erleben und zu genießen. Sehr zentral. Alles 100% . Wohnung sehr sauber und toll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Check in unkompliziert.

We kwamen hier voor de 2e keer, een prachtig appartement boven de Checkers supermarkt. Brilliant bedacht, de eerste keer hield ons dat tegen, voordelen: prima uitzicht, perfect parkeren, midden in centrum, beneden perfecte koffie van Starbucks, boodschappen doen van smorgens ( vers brood) tot vis steak in de avond, je loopt in 5 minuten naar zee. Appartementen worden goed onderhouden,in binnenruimte hebben de duiven weinig kan meer. Banken en stoelen zitten goed en de matrassen blijven goed, ws intussen al vernieuwd. De prijs kwaliteit is meer dan goed, Wat ons betreft de aanrader in Hermanus, het personeel multi cultural perfect.

L’albergo offre delle camere molto belle spaziose e pulite . Noi eravamo in quattro avevamo un bell appartamento a 2 piani . È molto centrale vicino a tutti i servizi e dispone del garage. Il personale super gentile ed accogliente e molto disponibile nell aiutarci a prenotare gita per avvistamento balene e bagno con lo squalo. Inoltre il giorno della partenza si sono organizzati per farci la colazione alle 5 e mezzo di mattina e questo dice tutto !

We were a family of 8 including 3 children.. staying at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel location is perfect and few only meters away from the waterfront. There’s a checkers and click right below the hotel which is very convenient if you need to grab some food or necessities. The only issue we had with the hotel was with the service that we were offered and the way the management handled it. We arrived in the hotel around 6 PM and by the time we settled ourselves and ordered some food, the power went out at 8 PM. I informed Danie (WhatsApp) at the reception about the power cut, who said it’s load shedding and was very casual about. We were not informed about this at check in time nor after that. We had kids with us so it got difficult for us to manage. Apparently the load shedding was daily for 2 hours and we were not informed about it. The following day upon checking with danie again regarding the power cut he said he didn’t know the load shedding time, however one hour before the power cut we were sent a note in the room about the timing of the load shedding, which we had missed seeing. We had two rooms, but the note came to one room only, and it was missed. He could have easily sent a message via WhatsApp as that is how we were communicating since the reception is quite away from the rooms. We were really upset as we didn’t know this would happen again. Overall this experience was not good. Danie was helpless. The following day the manager came to us and offered breakfast, however it was too late and just after 9 AM, we were already done with our breakfast. We were not given any compensation on our stay, however they did say we can stay a night extra for free but obviously we had our onward plan booked. This handling of the situation didn’t go down well with us, but the hotel for stay in the centre of Hermanus is perfect. Just remember there’s no generator and there’s power cut for 2 hours everyday.

Da wir eine Woche lang Gast in diesem Hotel waren, bekamen wir ein großzügiges, schön eingerichtetes Appartement über 2 Etagen, mit Balkon und Blick auf den Ozean. Es war zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig, in luftiger Höhe über einer Einkaufsmall zu wohnen, aber als wir merkten, dass es hier zwar geschäftig aber dennoch relativ ruhig zuging, genossen wir die kurzen Wege, um schnell und günstig einzukaufen. Das Personal war freundlich und tat alles, um uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Dazu gehörte auch, dass wir auf Wunsch zum üblichen English Breakfast Wurst, Käse und Tomaten bekamen. Dankeschön dafür! Vom Hotel aus waren die vielen kleinen Läden und urigen Restaurants schnell zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso der Marine Drive mit den einladenenden Gaststätten und Cafés direkt am Ozean. Es ist unglaublich entspannend, die kleinen Wege an den Klippen entangzulaufen, oder einfach nur da zu sitzen und zu schauen... (vielleicht kommt ja noch ein Wal vorbei). Wer ein Auto hat, sollte unbedingt die Umgebung abfahren; es gibt so viel zu entdecken, aber auch ohne PKW ist Hermanus eine Reise wert. Kleiner Tipp: unterhalb der Klippen befindet sich ein kleines Restaurant direkt am, fast im Wasser. Das Bientangs Cave. Wer sich und seinen sportlichen Fähigkeiten traut, sollte die vielen Stufen hinabsteigen (hoch ist schlimmer) und ein "Pottje" zwischen klatschenden Wellen genießen.

Unfortunately whilst staying at the hotel I had an accident but the staff were amazing even took me to the hospital and helped with the discussion with the doctors. The apartment was so big and spacious. Ok the view over the car park wasn’t the best but beyond it the view was great. So close to bars and restaurants and to the lovely coastal walk.

What a beautiful place to visit, the place was super clean the staff was super friendly the breakfast was amazing and very convenient the shops are just downstairs ,i would recommend the place 100% and i will definitely come back.

This is a first class hotel in a strange location about a supermarket but don’t be put off. Everything this at your fingertips and quality accommodation I just wish I’d found it on previous visits to Hermanus and will stay again. Perfect thank you.

On our tour of the western Cape, we chose to spend 4 nights in Hermanus in this centrally located hotel. Very convenient to all amenities with excellent parking arrangements. Lovely staff, very helpful and especially friendly. Large room was very comfortable and sleep was easy. Excellent breakfast and advice on restaurants. Satisfaction should not have been a surprise - sister establishment to the Kruger Riverside Lodge where we stayed earlier in the holiday.
