Accueil parfait, grande chambre design et très bien équipée, service hôtelier haut de gamme, bon petit-déjeuner, très jolies piscines, à 10' à pied du petit centre d'Hermanus et de ses restaurants et à 20' à pied du départ des bateaux pour les excursions baleines. Magnifique chemin de balade le long des falaises juste devant l'hôtel. Parking sécurisé.

Wir hatten 4 TraumTage in diesem super schönen Boutique Hotel mit bester Aussicht direkt auf das Meer und konnten sogar Wale und Delphine vom Bett aus beobachten - was ein Erlebnis!! Und auch die Mitarbeiter waren super nett und immer hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank für ein wirklich tolles langes Wochenende! Und zur info: eigene und sichere, eingezäunte Parkplätze unter dem Haus stehen frei zur Verfügung, es gibt 2 kleinere Pools mit Liegen, eine schöne Bar und all das bei 24/7 Service - besser geht es kaum! Die Lage war auch perfekt nicht nur für die Aussicht, sondern auch nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Ortsmittelpunkt mit all seinen Restaurants. Auch abends haben wir uns sicher gefühlt dort hinzugehen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal über alle Funktionen hinweg! Jederzeit ein sehr sauberes Zimmer angetroffen. Gutes und frisches Frühstück. Beste Lage direkt am der Küste. Jederzeit gerne wieder :)

Zeer aangename persoonlijke ontvangst met limonade. Mensen aan de balie denken ook echt mee me je om je planning op te maken en alles te kunnen reserveren, geven ook suggesties qua restaurants, zijn zeer hulpvaardig. Kamers: zeer gerieflijk, goeie bedden, sommige met koffieapparaat (andere buiten op gang), heerlijke badprodukten, goeie wifi en elke dag een flesje water per persoon. ‘s Avonds worden je pantoffels en je water klaargezet. Leuke bar, elke middag “tea-time” met vers gebakken cake, massages en gelaatsverzorging op aanvraag, kleine gifts aan te kopen in maritiem thema (knuffels walvis etc). Ontbijt klein maar voldoende, verschillende warme gerechten op aanvraag (toast zalm, omeletten,oatmeal…). Kortom een aanrader!

Petit hôtel très bien tenu juste devant la mer. Le chemin le long de la mer passe devant l’hôtel. Jolie décoration et disposition des chambres originale. 2 petites piscines avec patio bien agréable. Nous avons eu 2 chambres côte à côte et face à la mer pour un moment de charme. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bien préparé.

Schönes Hotel mit super Lage. Superior Room hat einen super Ausblick, man sieht die Wale vom Zimmer aus. Zimmer war sauber und wurde während des Aufenthaltes gut gereinigt. Sehr freundliches Personal, sowohl beim Frühstück, als auch bei der Rezeption.

Wir kannten das chapter house in franschhoek und wollten nach dem diesjährigen besuch noch eine nacht in hermanus verbringen. Das one marine strahlt den selben charakter eie das chapter house aus. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Die angestellten freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das zimmer (nr. 9) hatt eine wunderbare meersicht. Die pools konnten wir leider wegen nicht so gutem wetter nicht geniessen. Sahen aber einladend aus. Das frühstück war perfekt.

We chose this hotel due to the description, size and sea view. I liked 1 Marine Drive for: Size Proximity to CBD - walking distance to restaurants Size of room Modern bathroom View of ocean Friendliness of most staff Free cake and coffee in the afternoon Off street parking I disliked 1 Marine Drive for: Dirty tiled passages (remained like that for days even with one of the alleged owners supervising staff on one of the days) Dirty carpets in room Dirty upholstery of chairs in room Broken window handle in room meaning that the window could not close Mould in shower Proximity of neighbour’s chimney which allowed smoke into the room for about 5 hours Quality of breakfast Sullen and sloppy receptionist (male) - should not be customer facing Swimming pool (one side) unusable One could have overlooked some of the above depending on the price. However, this is not a cheap establishment. (Photos of most of the above available on request)

Für das One Marine Drive, ebenfalls zu Living Journey gehörend, gilt das Gleiche wie bei River Manor in Stellenbosch. Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel, allerdings mit etwas Verbesserungspotential. Wir hatten ein schönes, wenngleich nicht großes, Zimmer (Nr. 16) mit Blick auf die Bucht. Leider war der Duschabfluss unterdimensioniert, sodass nach dem Duschen jeweils das Badezimmer unter Wasser stand. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut mit einer breiten Auswahl.

Qualité, service , confort se résume en un seul mot WOW! One of the best hôtel that i discover in South Africa. They deserve the 5 star boutique hotel. I won’t hesitate to come back again!!! Best value for the Price. The staff are really professionnal and welcoming. The view of our room was incredible. You are only 10 minutes walking from main street. The hotel is very clean and they pay attention to every détails to make you feel confortable.

Very well appointed hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast superb and the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Recommended and booked La Pentola restaurant (excellent!) for us, and also suggested and booked Dyer Island Cruises, a lovely boat trip where we saw the marine Big 5.

Warm welcome. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Room was very comfortable. Beautiful walks close by. In walking distance of the town. Loved the turn down in the evening with the most delicious peanut brittle on our pillows. Looking forward to our next visit

We stayed at 1 Marine Drove for two nights and could not have been happier with our choice. The welcome was warm and informative - it is rare these days to be shown to your room and all of the amenities available but this was the welcome we received. Secure underground car park, and close to the town - the view is ridiculously beautiful. Breakfast choices were plentiful and the quality of ingredients and cooking superb. We felt very looked after throughout our stay. Everyone is super friendly. We stayed in room 17 which was spacious and clean and again with excellent facilities and complimentary sustainable products. We love the idea of collecting excess water in a bucket for re-use in the garden ! We had no issue with the kettle and coffee machine being outside of the room, it felt like an extension of our space The town and shops and restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away. The coastal path is easily accessible and provides a nice route to walk. We definitely recommend and will return.

Location, cleanliness, breakfast were all great. The staff friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Only 16 rooms gave it a relaxed and homey feel. Recommend it highly for an enjoyable stay in a beautiful seaside town. Sandeesa was an absolute pleasure and looked after anything we needed.
