Both rooms we stayed in had faulty showers the mixer for hot and cold was broken and the temp safety button was broken you could scold your self furniture had chips and the mirror fittings had sharp screw heads exposed issues bought to attention of reception no repairs were carried out the food was ok slow service the other main issue is the Parking now chargeable at most sites the outside entrance had damaged barriers and rubbish in the car park area's security seemed lacking

The service in the restaurant was a complete shambles. We could not get a booking for 2 people for at least 2.5 hours after arrival, despite the restaurant being quite empty during this time. The majn course took over 1 hour to arrive after the order bejng placed. The waitress was more concerned about making excuses than giving good service. I would have ordered desserts and coffees if the service had been at least average.

If you drive a commercial vehicle please avoid this place like the plague! They have an issue with vehicle break ins which they neglect to tell you when booking. And should it happen to and you report it to reception I can assure they couldn’t care less, the receptionist didn’t even look up when I told him I’d been broken into in his car park awful service Please see photo of my busted lock barrel

Great value for db&b. Easy accessible from motorway with lots of parking. Hotel and room clean and comfortable. Friendly service and good fresh food. 4 of us used the hotel for overnight stay on route and it couldn't have been better for the money.

Stopped here for one night, a bit of a mixed bag, ill do the negative frist, you have to pay for parking which is mad. On arrival the girl on the desk was rude and unhelpful. Her male colleague wasn't much better.. positive tho was the the room was clean bright but lacking in milk and tea so had to go back to reception.but the food was frist rate and Kim our waitresses was brilliant, funny kind helpful a credit to the hotel. I might stay again

I took 40 pupils to this hotel for a school trip to London. I cannot fault the staff, from the chef, waitresses, bar staff and housekeeping. Hotel was clean, slight issue with plumbing when we first arrived however there were 45 of us coming off a 7 hour bus drive going to the toilet. This was reported to reception and sorted within 15 minutes. We had dinner in the hotel on the first night and breakfast 3 mornings. There were no complaints and that was including 40 13/14 year olds. Google says 1 hour from London, our first activity was the Globe theatre due to London traffic this took 1 hour 45 minutes. So I would recommend you leave within plenty of time. We also attended Harry Potter studios and this was about 40 minutes on a bus. I would go back to this hotel both on a private trip and a school trip. I really don't understand the negative reviews. The place is clean, comfortable, has the necessities and the food is nice. I suppose there are always people who just like to complain.

Fab food meal deals, great rooms, friendly staff, great location for travelling to London the next day. Great prices. Communication from hotel great too.
