曼特拉赫維灣酒店(Mantra Hervey Bay)

The location is good. And the customer service of the receptionists are awesome, gave us a big smiles and very responsive.

Older style rooms, needs revamp. Beds ok, pillows ok. Location is the best part.

The hotel was amazing as per usual, however the new staff member had no idea about the facilities and what each room had in them. We had a heap of microwave items we disposed of , just to find there was a microwave after being told there definitely wasn’t one. Maybe the staff need to look in the rooms every once and a while .

No concierge service, hard bed, no food service. Great view from balcony.

Check-in process was painful. Despite having paid in full before arrival they required a $200 bond for incidentals. They could only take this using a physical credit card (would not accept Samsung Pay) which meant I had to go and partly unpack the car to locate a card. Parking was difficult with the one near the room full and needed to use an overflow carpark well away from the room. Lift to the 4th floor was tiny so there was sometimes a queue for this. Light switches in rooms were badly placed and problematic. TV was so small you could barely see it from the couch. Mattress sagged in the middle and pillows were awful. Curtains inadequate to block out the bright lighting outside the room. Was very noisy with sound of people in upstairs and adjacent apartments. The location is fantastic right near the marina which was the main factor in deciding to stay here. But overall my 3 night stay was disappointing. The place is starting to look tired and some of the other options nearby are far nicer especially when you consider the price being charged for the rooms here. Not likely to choose Mantra for my next trip to Hervey Bay
