Отличный вариант для тех кто хочет спокойного отдыха. Небольшой, но современный отель, рядом чистый и почти без людный пляж. Обслуживание и уборка в номерах была хорошей, ни одного замечания в этой части нет. Завтраки однообразные, но всегда есть чем подкрепиться. Рекомендую тем кто ценит спокойствие и хороший сервис.

This place has all the potential to be a fantastic beachfront boutique beauty. But thanks to poor management, dated fittings, and lower levels of hospitality(there were no staff even attending the front desk for even emergency requests past 11:30 PM or so!) is bogging this place down to a 2-star hotel! And at the exorbitant price we had to pay for a so-called ‘suite’ room with a balcony was just unacceptable for the quality we got in return. Too many things weren't working as they were supposed to. The Air conditioning in the room was weak, the TV channels never worked, etc. Stay away and choose other cooler properties in the neighborhood if you can. LOCATION: Excellent location right on the beach in the heart of Hikaduwa DINE + DRINK: The Breakfast served at their beachfront restaurant is super lame, and can be skipped without guilt. And the menu is quite odd with almost no Local cuisine - except for just a lone RICE & CURRY option. Not cool given how much more they could have done. ROOM: We stayed in the SUITE room with the balcony, so this review is based on that; SIZE: This was certainly NOT a suite but only a slightly bigger room with a nice living area and a couch; VIEW: Spectacular view from the huge balcony attached to the room; AIR-CON: Faced a huge functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Super random toiletries, bring your own if you stay here! FACILITIES: Super claustrophobic and dingy Gym in the basement with a minimal range of weights and dated Cardio machines. The swimming pool was quite good and came with lovely views of the ocean. SERVICE: Good staff that took care of all our needs, but can certainly do better and smile more to echo the real Sri Lankan warm hospitality HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small Plasma TV that barely worked!

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Lucky Elephant hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy with a nice relaxing pool and has a lot of potential. Unfortunately for us we didn’t see all the best sides of this hotel. The first night our air conditioning did not work but luckily we got a change of room. Something they should have checked and ticked off before we arrived. We went for dinner at the restaurant that night and communication with the waiter was a struggle as his English was not that good. He struggled to understand I wanted a bottle of red wine and eventually said they only had one that was in the fridge. When i questioned him about why the red wine was in the fridge he said the manager said all wine in the fridge. Ok then I said I will have a glass of beer so then he brings out a large bottle of beer, but I only asked for a glass of beer .When we we’re ready to order the meal I asked him what was not available. He said everything available. Ok i will have the devilled pork, oh sorry sir,that is not available, Ok i will have the Australian steak oh sorry sir that is not available either,eventually we had the devilled chicken and it tasted great and so was the rest of the meal. Another downside was at least 6 or 7 staff stood around us and watched us eat, very uncomfortable as we were the only guests in the restaurant.I spoke to the chef after dinner and i was confused no one else was at the restaurant and according to him the hotel had a 85% occupancy. He said oh they all go to town for dinner but they all come for breakfast. We didn’t go back for dinner the next night either. The management really needs to spend some money and train their staff a lot better if they want to reach the high level this hotel has a potential of reaching. Oh also terrible Wifi even after they sent someone to the room to fix it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Food was fabulous. We absolutely enjoyed the included breakfast and also had a very authentic local seafood lunch. Staff were very attentive. Hotel is right on the beach. It’s so nice to chill by the sea breeze. Overall we were very happy with the stay.

Had an amazing stay at Lucky Elephant. The owner and his staff is very friendly, there was more than enough good food and drinks during my stay. Room was clean, and they made sure it stayed that wat during my stay. All in all if you're still deciding if you should go for this hotel, I say go for it. Walked across the beach and it doesn't get better than this one! Enjoy your holiday

Visited the Lucky Elephant back in 2019 and recently had the opportunity to revisit and was so pleased that I did. I was reminded of what a real gem of a find this hotel is with peaceful pleasant rooms that front a beautiful beach combined with very attentive staff that go out of their way to ensure that your stay here is a good one.

The hotel is amazing, staff are very friendly and went out of their way for us. Would recommend you stay here for a few nights. Food was brilliant as we are vegan and the chef and staff made sure we had plenty of food. Outstanding

Расположение , дизайн , персонал - хорошо Чистота , еда - на троечку с минусом. На завтраке нет даже сыра простого не то, что колбасы. Фрукты и овощи можно положить в боксы, а то на них мошкара слетается. Ну вот это основное , хотя чистота на Шри Ланке понятие относительное, но подушки именно воняли, белье было в пятнах, видимо не отстиралось и в дырках. Розетки у кровати не работали
