Very nice hotel with nice rooms and great amenities

Staff wasn’t friendly. Never looked up when people walked in. The first room we were in, the view was blocked by a wall, and had a smell. We weren’t informed about maid service only every 3 days. When I asked for fresh towels, they gave us some but never removed old damp towels. Elevator floor was dirty all 3 days. Our second room was noisy next to the freeway. The air conditioning did not work. The only decent thing was the breakfast and the staff there. One would maybe be ok with this if paying very little bit not for over 2 hundred per night. I will never stay there again!! This is my first ever negative review and we travel frequently!!!

Embassy has it all wrong here to Charge an additional (Hidden Fee) for parking at this location, this isn't downtown Portland Embassy with Valet Service, its a parking lot! They also now restrict other amenities such as managers reception, shame on this Embassy, clearly mismanaged and greedy! Likely why no one else stays here. Staff is friendly, rooms kind of clean, one bar of soap to split between washing hands and showering I guess. I wont stay here again and now understand why others in our group stayed elsewhere and why parking lot empty relative to other hotel options. We are Hilton Honor Members and we have stayed at Embassy Suites in Downtown Portland and PDX Airport dozens of times, will NEVER stay here again and understand why lobby is empty on a very busy weekend. They clearly prefer to lose business by charging for parking. Had I known this would have never booked this room or used ******* out of principle. Upset this parking fee wasn't stated by *******! No one at counter when attempting to check in waited 20 minutes even though no other guests in lobby and arrived an hour after check in started. Fridge not cold and had another guests leftover yogurt that smelled likely due to lack of cold and expiration date, not worth the money here!

When you serve food make sure it is not days or weeks old hash browns reheated to serve to your guests. Also the mushrooms served in my omelet were meant for the compost pile rather than someone’s breakfast. Obviously the floor in the bathroom had not been cleaned in a while. Dried pee markings in front of the toilet!

Embassy Suites was perfect for our time in Hillsboro. I was there for a conference but my time back at the Hotel was restful. From the moment I checked in, the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The hotel has generous portions for breakfast, not just cold cereal like others. The room was clean, and comfortable and had good amenities. Centrally located too.

We spent 5 minutes in our room and asked for a refund, and left the hotel. There was absolutely no air in the room, windows wouldn’t open, and a horrible cologne smell. Everything was dingy and worn out.

Dos problemas: Solo limpian las habitaciones cada tres dias!! Una vergüenza… no cambian toallas ni hacen la cama ni limpian los tachos de basura… El internet es malísimo!!
