工作人員都非常友好,但我的房間在預訂後幾個小時之前都沒有毛巾或衛生紙..但位置很好,游泳池很乾淨,如果他們能吃點早餐那就太好了2..很抱歉紅色屋頂

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The reviews we read prior to booking made it sound like an outdated, but clean and safe hotels Our room had spiderwebs, dirty bed linens, stains on the comforter. In addition, there were people fighting in the parking lot and the manager kept walking by and staring at us awkwardly through the window. We ended up leaving after 20 min and finding a new hotel.

The rug/carpet area was so dirty that my kids feet turned black within 5 minutes of being in the room. The lamp above the bed wasn't screwed into the wall; it was just dangling with exposed wires. We were there a week and not once did anyone come in to clean regardless of how many times we asked. When we asked for the room to be swept or vacuumed we were handed a mop to do it ourselves. No matter how many times we called the front desk, no one would answer.

Booked room 7/8 - 7/10 through Priceline. We had second thoughts about staying due to mixed reviews but the hotel location is great so we tried it. Mistake. Upon arrival, at 3:45, the 3 staff members in the office were unfriendly and seemed very confused about which rooms were ready. It took them a while to figure out. The room surfaces and tub had been wiped clean. The floor, though swept, was dirty (my nieces feet were flithy after a few minutes without shoes on). This is a VERY, VERY TIRED 1990's hotel. On our first evening, the pool area which had posted hours of 8:00 to 8:00, became the location of an adult party. Sometime after 11:00 a fight broke out that was eventually broken up by other party-goers. The next morning the pool water was murky - not clear nor inviting. Needless to say, the kids didn't go to the pool. Think twice about staying elsewhere even though you may need to spend a few extra bucks or drive a little further to get to the beach.

Travelers beware: My husband, traveling alone, checked into the Red Roof Inn on Hilton Head Island, SC on April 3rd around 3pm. Everything looked fine in the room, so he left to go to dinner with some friends. When he returned around 8:30pm and turned down the bed, he found dirty sheets. Housekeeping had made the bed with the sheets being left dirty!! He went downstairs to the front desk to inquire about getting clean sheets. The front desk attendant (an older lady) was very nice, apologized, and gave him the clean sheets. But since housekeeping had gone for the day, he had to put them on the bed himself!! The rest of the room seemed, fine with the exception of some gnats (or some other type of small fly) and the hot water coming out of the sink being brown (briefly). When he told me about his experience the next evening, and as he is not one to address issues, I called the front desk. The first person (a young man) answering the phone listened to my complaint and then put me on hold. Another person then picked up the phone and asked if she could help. I gave her the information I had given the first person. She then proceeded to tell me that this is a budget hotel (the rating is 3 ½ to 4 stars, so I don’t consider this budget), that they are short staffed, and that housekeeping goes home at 5:00pm. She did apologize and explain that they had changed the boiler that day or the day before and that may be why the water coming out of the shower was brown. She also told me that he could check out if he wanted to (? the room was prepaid). I told her everything around there was booked and he had nowhere to go. These are adequate explanations/suggestions, but there is no excuse for someone making up a bed with dirty sheets when the room is going to be occupied by a new customer!! I believe the Manager was there at the desk with her, but did not offer any compensation, which is what I feel would have been the right thing to do. This hotel is in a great location, right next to Shelter Cove Marina, but we will never stay there again!! I booked the room through Priceline, whom I also called with my complaint, as I thought they ought to know what type of issues we encountered at this hotel. The customer service person was nice and sympathetic but said there was nothing she could do about the situation.

The hotel had good points and bad points. DO NOT SHOW UP BEFORE 4PM unless you want to pay an extra $25.00. They allow one pet at no extra charge. If more you have to have management approval. I didn't know it was going to be an upstairs room. So if you book a Superior King they are 2nd floor. The AC/Heat unit didn't work well. Good point no carpet. I was able to clean the floor myself. The remote didn't halfway work even after I got another. When we went to check out found two unwanted bugs in one of our bags. The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft. All in all it was a decent place and the price was right.

Reserved a room here for a few nights since I was traveling with my dog. I figured since it was in Hilton Head how bad can it be? Wow, was I wrong. Checked in, went to dinner and came back to find bugs all over the place. Was all over one of our bags. Immediately checked out and informed the front desk. The manager wasn't in. I sent and email along with a video of the bugs requesting a refund. Never got a response. No response to BBB complaint filing either. I had to scramble and book another hotel last minute. What an awful experience and worst customer service. I don't think I was being unreasonable requesting a refund. Even suggested a prorated amount for the approximately 4 hours I was checked in. I could at least get a response from the manager. Corporate responded with 2000 Red Roof Inn points, but I will NEVER stay at a Red Roof again.

We stayed for three nights in a first floor suite and had a great experience. We were vacationing with our dogs and they were welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. It had a microwave, two tv’s, a little refrigerator and a coffee maker. The manager and everyone working there were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and close to beaches, a dog park, shopping, and good restaurants. We really had an amazing time in Hilton Head and the stay here was a big part of that. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

My family and I are currently long term residents at the Red Roof. It has been our pleasure to be here doing business with Mike and his staff. We have had a great relationship with the check in staff, most of all, Sara. We’ve needed maintenance a couple of times and they came quickly and did a great job. We are fortunate to have this team be on our side!

While I can't say that this hotel was horrible, the bare-bones state of the room and a pretty disgusting bathroom really soured my experience. The front desk experience was very nice, and you can tell that the hotel earnestly tries very hard to make its guests feel welcome. The front desk attendant called once we got to our room to check if everything was ok -- but this call came RIGHT as we entered, so we hadn't had a chance to really look over things. I stayed in a handicap accessible room that had a king bed and an accessible shower. When we got to the room, it was a pretty basic/economy space that didn't feel very comfortable -- mostly because the floors are bare. The A/C and head worked fine. The television worked, and we had a microwave and fridge in the room. A lightbulb was out in one of the sconces. The bed was covered in clean linens and was generally comfortable. There was no privacy curtain, only a blackout one, so we pretty much kept the blinds closed the whole time. The bathroom was the worst part of the room, and in need of some fixes. When we entered, the bathroom had a slight smell of sewage, probably from not being used in a while. The floor was very dirty, and the large drain for the standing shower had visible signs of rust. In the morning, it made me just want to leave. I think my experience is unique to the room I was in, but it will make me very hesitant to stay at another red roof inn.

Front desk was clearly understaffed and overwhelmed. Our room wasn't ready at check in. The hotel doesn't provide housekeeping if you're staying less than a week and if you want fresh towels you have to take your towels to the front desk to exchange. On arrival in our room we were greeted by the overwhelming smell of mildew. Only one tiny trashcan in room. Air conditioners were noisy and only marginally decreased the humidity in the room. We requested maintenance (twice) that never arrived. My husband messed with the AC unit to discover that the filter looked like it had NEVER been changed (thus the mildew smell). Coffee maker in the room had coffee grounds in it from whenever it was last used. The bathroom fan is loud and ineffective. The minifridge was practically room temperature despite being turned up to max. On the plus side the rest of the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the show was good. We won't be staying here again.

I’ve been staying at the red roof inn on Hilton head island on n off, and the location is so convenient and close to many restaurants. Walkable distance to a lot of places to visit. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms I’ve stayed in so far have always been clean and all the amenities working. The front desk ladies have been amazing especially miss franny she’s been the best and hands on always so polite and a smile on her face. She’s so welcoming and always ready to help. Miss Sara was wonderful she’s been so great as well. Very friendly. They’ve been so attentive. Kudos!! And mr Mike the manager was such a nice gentleman very understanding a great leader. Not to forget the housekeeping staff have always been so good. They keep the rooms clean and always wished me the time of day and had a smile on their faces. The coffee bar in the lobby always has hot fresh coffee at any time of the day. The ice machine has ice at anytime as well. The pool area is so cozy and the pool was clean. In fact I saw the pool being cleaned back to back during my stay which made me feel comfortable to get in often. Overall experience was amazing to me the price is great for what the island offers. I’d recommend red roof inn if you’re on a budget and trust me you won’t be disappointed. A big thank you to the entire RRI team for a pleasant and safe stay. I will definitely come back again especially because of the redipoints rewards they offer.

Great staff led by manager Mike. Comfortable beds in clean rooms all in a nice setting. Fast free Wi-Fi, TvV offering expansive and a stones through from all beach’s, restaurants and stores. One of the closest locations to all of vacation activities.
