We stayed here 5 days, to really experience the beauty and many attractions of the Trang An and Ninh Binh areas. We were so glad we did; it was a highlight of our 3 weeks in SE Asia, including a very relaxing stay at Trang An Retreat. Our host, Sam, was very warm, welcoming and helpful in arranging anything we asked for during our stay. This is a small, family-run business and all staff were kind and professional. The surrounding area is spectacularly scenic and peaceful, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. As others have mentioned, accommodation is basic here - clean, comfortable and very budget-friendly. Food was quite good, if a bit limited. The spring rolls are delicious! Sam and staff speak English well, which was very helpful to us. They arranged a reliable driver for us on two of our days there. The stunning Trang An Grottoes boat trip is only 1 km away, an easy bike ride from the Retrat (they have decent bicycles available for free). I highly recommend this place for folks who want a tranquil, reasonably priced home base in the Ninh Binh area.

One of the best Hotel in Vietnam . Not beacuse of concrete and finishing , because of The Reed people .. Awesome stay . Special thanks to quen for such a fantastic international skills and communication. The breakfast spread was great . We were greeted so well with early checkin around 12 .

The hotel is okay at an average level, but compared to this price range and in Ninh Binh, it is not worth the price. Hotel staff are not professionally trained, breakfast needs to improve the quality of drinks.

The room (premium deluxe) was absolutely stunning, with a very beautiful scenic view, a very comfortable matress and very clean also. The location is also very good, its convenient to walk and see tam coc and also for the boat trips. The breakfast was good and there is a nice pool to swim. That said, We had a big problem of noise : a new bar opened next door and the noise was umbelievably loud, the staff could’nt tell us what was the closing hour of the bar and wasn’t capable of going and pick the information when we asked several time. They did a discount on the room because we could’nt sleep at all (it was like we were in the bar) so I thank them for that because they tried their best to help us, but in the future I hope that they can make an arrangment on the level of noise with the new bar, otherwhise, clients will not be respected for what they pay…

Нам тут очень понравилось. Красивый отель, эстетичный бар, немного вид из окна разочаровывал, на болото, но такое расположение.. до центра там кока, где все кафешки 5 минут на байке. Персонал решал любые вопросы, очень гостеприимное место!
Бесплатно сауна и джакузи. Завтрак хороший. Дали хороший новый байк нам в аренду.

美麗的小民宿,在Tam Coc安靜的小街上,由一對非常好的夫婦Tommy和Lily經營。房間寬敞,很乾淨,陽台,露台上早餐非常好,咖啡很棒!湯米非常樂於助人,即使在最後一分鐘,他也非常樂於安排我們乘公共汽車的轉機,他步行我們到巴士站,等待確保我們上車!他們倆英語流利,非常友好。我們強烈推薦!

訪訪客We had a great stay at Limestone View. The hosts Dzung and Dep were very kind and helpful. The room was large and clean, wifi provided and a great fresh cooked breakfast each morning with fresh fruit and juice and Vietnamese coffee. Dzung made sure our family was very well looked after, helping with all aspects of our time in Ninh Binh. We were able to use bikes and rode to all tourist locations with Dzung’s helpful map and guidance. Dzung organised private transfers for us which were very comfortable and reasonably priced. There is a roof top pool which would be good in summer (but the weather was too cold to swim in December). We would recommend staying here!

I'm not going to lie, when we first checked in here I was extremely skeptical as our initial room was not up to par. After going back and forth with my Husband on whether or not to move to another spot we decided to give it a chance and asked to switch rooms instead. The Woman (I am so sad/sorry I did not get her name and will lovingly refer to her as Boss Lady) at the desk heard our concerns and immediately got us switched over to another room that was WAY better. Long story short, out of our 2 weeks in Vietnam (luxury hotels and otherwise) I think this was our favorite stay. Our best breakfast in Vietnam was here. It was delicious and made me feel like it was made with love and that brightened my spirits. Boss Lady helped me make a perfect 2 day itinerary in the region and helped me avoid some pitfalls. She also recommended an amazing massage spot. I felt like she was a trusted friend. Boss Lady and her family made our stay magical. I booked this homestay after a recommendation from Lilly at Grand Hotel Du Lac in Hanoi. I'm so happy we took her advice. We loved this homestay and can't wait to return.

MMichael Jean PierreEl hospedaje está en el centro de la zona Tom Coc, no dispone de ascensor pero el edificio tiene dos plantas, la habitación tenía muy buenas vistas.
La habitación estaba muy bien tenía aire acondicionado y ventilador, no hay TV, el Wifi era muy lento.
En cuanto al anfitrión es muy amable, preparan desayunos y hay algunos platos de desayuno occidental, hay que hacer uso del traductor ya que no hablan muy bien el inglés.

訪訪客This place exceeded all of our expectations. The owners of this home stay were so accommodating- we got into Tam Coc around 4am and even though our check in was not until 11am, they welcomed us in with open arms. Every morning they cooked delicious breakfast and greeted us with fresh pineapple and tea upon our return. We also used their laundry, motorbike services, and they helped us book out sleeper bus ticket to Hue- it was so convenient!! I cannot recommend this place enough, great hosts and a great location. Thank you for everything Bich and Thien, we had a fantastic visit 💗

FFlorianL'accueil, la bienveillance, la gentillesse, l'aide, vraiment tout est excellent! La famille qui gère ce petit hôtel est vraiment top! La chambre est spacieuse, les lits très confortables, grande salle de bain avec eau chaude, de l'eau et du café à disposition. Les petits déjeuner sont variés et savoureux! Il y a des vélos a disposition et aussi des scooters en location. Il n'y a rien à reprocher, je recommande sans problème, vous ne serez vraiment pas déçu!

訪訪客Really quaint setting right next to a mountain with direct access to an amazing cave which you can enter with a guide for 100.000 dong. Bicycle and scooter for rent at very reasonable prices. Breakfast and dinner provided. The food was home cooked like your mum used to make. Delicious. Rooms good, air con, fan. Comfortable bed/s. The bungalows are a 4 generation family business. The owners are beautiful people. Id highly recommend a stay at Rocky Bungalow

訪訪客Nice hotel which was super walkable to town. Breakfast buffet was good and had the customary pho and omelets to order. Front desk staff and head waiter super helpful. Rooms were nice and always well-stocked with water. And I was able to do laps at 6 a.m…the pool was almost 25m👍🏼 So why not 5 stars? Probably because we stayed at 2 places before and the bar was set high. Dumb things I didn’t like: The gym…underwhelming and hot. Like much of the space in the hotel, they don’t air condition so you just do some planning, find the remote and cool before you start. No AC in the hallways, elevator, etc but great AC in the rooms. Not a lot of English spoken. Trying to ask people in the dining room for things was challenging but I totally understand Ninh Binh is more out of the way than Hanoi and Halong Bay. Again, the bar was set high at our previous spots so we were spoiled😝

訪訪客We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to Ninh Binh and were able to see so much of the area in just one day. The location of the home stay was super for this and we were also delighted that the staff were helpful in arranging transport to the train station and Trang An. Until we came to leave, we would have been comfortable leaving a 3 or 4 out of 5 rating. We were however made to feel extremely uncomfortable by the man who oversaw our stay, as he began hassling us to leave a review before we had had breakfast. This intensified when we returned from our day out; we were obliged to leave a review before he would drive us to the station (which we had already paid him for). We left a generous review on *********** (averaged at 8.0/10) which did highlighted the one area we felt was lacking - the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. The man then proceeded to drive incredibly unsafely (including at points driving without holding the steering wheel, across two lanes in relatively busy traffic and far slower than the rest of the traffic) whilst using his phone to translate his haranguing of us about our review, eventually resulting in us having to speak to his boss on the phone about why we hadn’t left a 10/10 review. The entire interaction left us feeling distinctly uncomfortable and spoiled the end of our trip. We were relieved to get out of the vehicle, even though it was not in the drop-off location we had agreed.

訪訪客Tam Coc de la Montagne resort Our family of four stayed here as part of our Intrepid Tour visit to Vietnam. We occupied two rooms for two nights. Overall our experience was very positive. The beds and pillows were comfortable. All the outlets work and are plentiful. The bathrooms are recently updated. The rooms are very clean with a stocked mini bar and a few complimentary treats and water. The WiFi is free and speedy. We used the laundry service which managed to deliver same day! The kitchen is creating good food! We dined there both nights. The pasta and pizza are as good as you will get anywhere. The salads are fresh and dressings delicious. Breakfast is similar to most hotels in Vietnam with a few fun surprises (onion rings or meatballs, anyone?) The bar is fine and the espresso was satisfying. My wife and daughters took advantage of the spa and enjoyed hair washes and a hot stone experience that was very enjoyable. The service overall is friendly and attentive. The main hall/reception is stunning, they have created a truly welcoming and comfortable place to eat and relax. The grounds are adorned with flower shrubs and cultured trees, making the walk to our room very pleasant. The shower uses a dedicated water heater in the bathroom so be aware that the hot water won't last long. During our visit the pool was still empty as it is undergoing a refresh. There are complimentary bicycles which can be used to tour the area, we used them to view the Buffalo cave and pedal to the Hang Mua lookout. My wife and I occupied a room near the pool which was very quiet at bedtime. My daughters were closer to the entrance so unfortunately were subjected at bedtime to loud karaoke from a neighbouring establishment. My rating is based on value for price and the location and facilities available in this gorgeous part of the world. I'm sure as time goes on the management will continue to improve and refine their offering.
