奧蘭納豪斯酒店(Orana House)

Lovely old house yet fresh and comfortable. Excellent breakfast can be ordered from the ever smiling hostess Nina. We loved staying there.

Pauline was such a kind and gracious host to my friends and I. We loved talking with her over breakfast which she serves at Orana house. The house has a wonderful ambiance, with gardens and a view to match. I highly recommend anyone who wishes for a more unique and personal stay in Hobart. One day we'll be back Pauline 😊

Amazing home! Spotless. Spacious and very comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. And Nina takes hosting to a new level. Absolutely faultless. Will definitely return. A great privilege to stay in this home as Nina described the BMW view - bridge, mountain, water! So true

Nina is amazing and her touch of detail on every corner cannot be spoken enough about. I can not imagine a better person to manage this historical house. Beautifully clean and organized. Amazing freshly baked rolls too!

Orana House Convenient location- 10 minutes to city, 15 minutes to airport. Easy to access. Quiet neighbourhood. Rooms are comfortable, furniture befitting 100 year old property. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Options for cooked breakfast at reasonable rates. Host Nina is friendly and informative. We are coming back when we are in Hobart next week. Recommended compared to other hotels/ motels in Hobart.

A great look for a bit of history, built in 1909. Formerly owned by a son’s British convict John Pearce. I took my daughter here for 2 nights stay to experience a more than century old Heritage hotel at Hobart, Tasmania! Pauline, the owner was so hospitable and really lived up to what “Orana” means in Aboriginal word, means “Welcome!” - and we were welcomed, the Tasmanian, Australian way!

We stayed here for 1 night after our tour of Tasmania. I wished we had booked here for longer!! We were greeted by the lovely owner Pauline. She gave us a tour of the house and a welcome pack with the history of the house and things to do around the area. Pauline also gave us some ideas of things to do and where to eat locally. The house itself is a beautiful heritage house and has been decorated in keeping with that in mind. It was like stepping back in time, it was so nice to see that it has been kept authentic. Breakfast is included with options of cereal, yoghurt, toast and a selection of yummy treats cooked by Pauline. There is an option to upgrade and pay for a cooked breakfast, pancakes or eggs. This was cooked by Nina who cooks a great breakfast. The room we stayed in was comfortable and very clean with a lovely comfy bed. There was a tv/dvd player, tea/ coffee making facilities and toiletries. Our room had a view of the beautiful gardens and Mt William. It was nice to sit outside and have a cup of tea and enjoy the view. We would highly recommend staying here. Pauline and Nina make you feel so welcome. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Immaculately presented accommodation, quality finishes, those special final touches made a stay here outstanding. Nina was the perfect hostess, going that extra mile to ensure my three days was both relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast menu offers the best of homemade dishes to start your day perfectly. I stayed at this place for my wedding night: The first night, the night before the wedding, was by myself and the second, and final, night was with my new wife. And I couldn't have picked a better location for such a momentous occasion. The room my wife stayed in was the Ronald Pierce room, selected for having a spa. And the room was nothing short of magnificent, with it's wonderful décor and large bed. One would think they had stepped into a time machine and went back over two hundred years. The history in this place is incredible and it is indeed magnificently preserved. Nina and Pauline were fantastic hosts and the breakfast provided was superb. Given the opportunity, I would stay here again without a second thought.
