This is the first time I've ever posted a public complaint, but my husband, daughter and I just had the most bizarre experience. After having forwarded a series of feedback about poor cleaning service to the reception staff on multiple occasions during our stay we came to the conclusion that the experience did not match the 21500 SEK we had prepaid for our visit. We asked the receptionist for a fair compensation and agreed on a symbolic sum covering our restaurant bills. What follows is the most bizarre experience where we as guests have been threatened by text messages from the hotel CEO, we have been accused of verbal assault and threatening behavior towards the receptionist on duty at the time of our check-out and have been urged to refund our compensation to avoid being reported to the police (!). One could look at this as an embarrassing farce, yet we are utterly shaken by this unbelievable experience of how Rusthållaregården treats dissatisfied guests.
