It was great stay during my short visit to Hoi An. The owner is friendly and can speak English so it really help us a lot in term of communication. The room I stay is very clean and can’t even see any dusk as the floor is really shining. Facilities inside bathroom is up to date, really love to bed were very soft and can just feel like really at home. We also arrange our coconut village trip and book chartered car back to Danang direct with the owner. The surrounding of this place is at local community and it really peacefull.

We had a lovely stay at Lazy Bear Hostel! The rooms are very comfortable and the whole place feels like home. Linh, Binh and the rest of the family are so welcoming and helpful. The Hostel is perfectly located an equal distance from the old town and the beach, so there is plenty to do within walking distance! The pool is also a lovely place to cool down after a busy day exploring. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would love to come back and we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An :)

I am so glad I've chosen this lovely small hostel as my homebase in Hoi An. Felt like being part of a nice family. Breakfast is the morning together to meet other travellers and sometimes plan things together. Bihn and Lihn take great care of the property, its spotless and are always there for the guests, even to waive them off at 630 on a Sunday. The bicycles will take you to the beach or city centre in a mere 10 min Don't believe other reviews that say it's longer

I had a great stay and experience here. It’s more like a family (they live in the same building) guest house to start with. I’ve stayed in a 5 bed dorm, with a somewhat unusual set up of 5 normal beds. But with only two occupied and lots or room, it wasn’t an issue at all. The place is very clean, safe, comfortable and has a thoughtful modern bear themed interior. A wide variety of tasty breakfast to choose from is freshly made everything morning. The owners, Binh and Linh, are very kind, speak good English and can probably help you out with anything (like in my case getting a last minute bus ticket during the Tet holiday). It’s location is something to consider, you’ll need a bicycle to get into town or to the beach, if you don’t wanna walk more then 20 minutes. Luckily these are included with your stay. Absolutely recommendable (also for families with kids).

If you’re looking for a clean, cozy hostel perfectly located between the beach and the town then Lazy bear is the place for you! Binh and her husband are so welcoming and helped me find the best place in town to eat, book trips a trip to the Cham islands and a great trip to Hue by motorbike 💜 Made my solo traveller life so much easier! There’s also loads of bikes at the hostel which you can use for free which is the perfect way to explore Hoi An and you can dive into the hostel pool after a day of exploring and cycling around. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I went there for 2 days and was almost perfect. The rooms are clean and well suited and equiped. The hosts are available, reactive and very helpful for any kind of questions from where to visit (help finding organized tour), where to eat or cook to how to live and adapt in Vietnamese culture. I recommend promptly if you want to visit hoi an.
