霍爾曼 - 拉克羅斯草原套房酒店(Prairie Inn and Suites Holmen/La Cross)

After reading the reviews, I am surprised to have had a completely different experience. The first thing I saw was that all of our towels had some sort of stains on them, as did the top cover of one of the beds. The fan of the A/C-heat unit was beyond annoying, so we just turned it off (middle of the winter). The walls and floors are super thin. I could hear the man above us snoring as well as using the bathroom. The sheets are rough and smelled of bleach. We were given 2 tiny shampoos (no conditioner) and one looked like it had already been used.

No elevator. Room smelled as did bedding. Have to step into tub to take shower, no convenient place to put soap and shampoo. Bright light right outside room. Shines in through bottom and top of curtain. Needs a shade with curtain. Very mediocre “continental” breakfast. Way overpriced given condition.

We loved our one night stay, nice size room, bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We loved the pancake machine, if we are out your way again we'll definitely stay again. Kim

We were comfortable here for our one night stay in December 2023. Felt safe and clean. No frills but the price was right.

Toilet didn't flush had to use the public one by the office. Everytime we went to front desk no one was there. So no one ever came to fix it.Stay there many times this is far by worse 😕. Have plenty of veiwers on goggle maps

The Prairie Inn was delightful experience! Our room was extremely clean!! Was wonderful! Bed comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Just wish they had an elevator. Thank you!

I did not stay here-I booked the room for a guest but she said she was pleased with the room and the service she received.

I stayed in the Whirlpool suite. Everything was very clean. The staff was very nice. I would definitely consider staying there again!

Found this place a couple years ago. I assume it's the owners, are very friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast. A great place to stay for the price.
