霍爾頓速8酒店(Super 8 by Wyndham Holton)

Didn't like housekeeping knocking on the door at 10:00 to remind us that checkout is at 11:00 (in a rather insolent voice). Think about what you're saying and how you say it.

For the price and for the relatively remote area it was a great place to stay. Room was clean and smoke free. Included breakfast was better then typical Super 8 breakfast. Fresh biscuits and gravy. If I was in this area again this is where I would stay.

I have family in Holton and stay here occasionally. The staff is always courteous and willing to help with last-minute needs. I can depend on clean surroundings, and a quiet room. This is my favorite place to stay in Holton.

We took a few days to let go of the stresses and to celebrate the new year.

Although the property is a bit dated, everything is very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning is just fine,. This motel has a good price and a good value,. Very convenient to be close to family members when visiting from out of state.

NO Elevator! A/C units are OFF upon arrival! 103 degrees is hard to cool down for a comfortable stay! WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN! ****** was booked is the only reason we booked at this location. Personally, the A/C issue is the deal breaker, could at least have the A/C on 78 maybe even 80. but trying to cool down a room starting with outside temps over 100 is inhumane.

June 11, 2023 I had reserved a room for my daughter at super 8 through **********, when she arrived a young male RUDELY told her that her card was declined. He refused to look at the confirmation number, and you do not get a confirmation number from ********** if your card is declined. Her room was paid for. So she ended up going to red roof inn, which is across the street from super 8, so she was able to spend the night there, which was all good until morning when she checked out, the same young RUDE male from super 8 laughed at her, I was very very disappointed in both motels. I would never sleep in either one of those motels again I would rather sleep in my vehicle. I had to call ********** the next morning to see if I could get my money back and they said it was paid for. They did credited back to my card and they were very nice about it. If I could give them stars like they deserve, I would give them -20 stars

Ok for a quick night's rest. Ok clean except the carpets. Bed slept good.

Hotel was dirty and truly needs some work with new carpet, etc.
