洪堡雪堡酒店(Schlossberg Hotel Homburg)

Da unser bevorzugtes Restaurant ausgebucht war, haben wir im Schlossberg Hotel das Ostermenü für 7 Personen gebucht. Schon bei der Bestellung ging man auf Sonderwünsche ein. So aß eine Person keinen Lachs, ihr wurde Ziegenkäse serviert, eine Person wollte keine Garnelen, ihr wurde gebratener Spargel serviert, eine Person wollte kein Roastbeef, ihr wurde Maispoularde gereicht. My fiancé stayed in one of the studio apartments of the City Residenz, which belongs to the Schlossberg Hotel in the inner city of Homburg. The apartment had a homely atmosphere and was nicely located at the center of he city. What really stood out to me during his stay, and even after his stay had already ended, was the excellent service the hotel and its staff provided. They were extremely helpful, cooperative and competent even with unusual requests. They really lived up to the principle "the guest is king". Thank you to the staff for all your help and effort, it is greatly appreciated!

I highly recommend staying at the Schlossberg Hotel, especially at the City Residenz, which belongs to the hotel and is in the inner city. ROOM ITSELF: I’ve lived there for several months, and the studio was unquestionably well-equipped: kitchen supplies, minibar, microwave, TV, Wi-Fi, wardrobes, washing machine in the basement... The bathroom has also a very modern design, the shower is amazing and the hotel provides the guests with some fancy and practical toiletries. I'd also add that I've never had loud or inconvenient neighbors there. CLEANING: Every week a cleaning team would show up, and not only were they thorough enough to change the bedsheets and leave some fresh towels, but were also very friendly. LOCATION: simply amazing, right in the heart of Homburg and within walking distance from pretty much anything you’d need to go in the city (Uniklinik: 20 minutes, Train station: 10 Minutes, Supermarkt: 5 Minutes – and so on). CUSTOMER SERVICE: The exceptional thing about my stay there was the service of the Schlossberg Hotel. Whenever there was a problem or request by me, the hotel’s staff attended to it quickly and effectively. Everyone was always friendly, helpful and just a call or an e-mail away. It is as if I was somehow “invited” the whole time. Their attentive service highly contributed to my overall exceptional experience while living there. A big thank you to the whole team! =)

The staff is so helpful I asked for iron and ironing board they delivered it to the room immediately then I had problems with transportation and one of their staff drove me to the train station. I’ve stayed here several times in the past and I’m always very pleased with all of the staff the amenities and the price for the product is very reasonable

No review on the hotel. Just on the dinner. This was the best diner and the best wines (in a restaurant) I had for many years. The chef created excellent courses and the sommelier presented great wines that paired perfectly. Both of them not only topped my expectations but also topped some of the Michelin Star restaurants I have been to. What a delicious night. My wife, my friends and I will remember this evening for many years!! The photo’s might not do them justice 😉

Lovely location with access to the castle ruins and beautiful view of the city.

People on reception should check better what they are charging because they have charged me 8 breakfast instead of 4 and add me more paperwork to do. The rest is of the stay I had no conplains

Plus: good view from hilltop, parking free Minus: quite a long drive from the city below Parking often full Modern / cold interior I have not tried the restaurant as the menu is quite simple Breakfast charged at € 16 Staff partly useful, and not pleasant at all
