We checked in on Thursday evening around 7:30. There was no parking at the hotel and very little throughout town. There was a dance project presentation right next to the hotel which apparently taking up parking - we were told it is like that all summer. We parked a few blocks away and walked to check-in and have dinner at the restaurant within the hotel. The service was AWESOME, but the food was very pricey for what you received. Air conditioning in the room. But not in the hallways. Couldn't get the dry sauna in our "king suite" to work and didn't want to bother on call manager (frontdesk is unattended after 9pm). Bed was very comfortable, did not use the jet bath in our room. Only 2 blocks from Lake Michigan, shopping, food, and ice cream all within walking distance. WONDERFUL!! I thought breakfast was included in the stay - no. Restaurant and hotel are separate entities. Coffee and prepackaged muffins are available for guests. In a nutshell: room was pricey for amenities, parking isn't great, service was OUTSTANDING!!!!
