My family stayed at Jaguar Reef for five nights, and we had a fabulous time. There were two adults and two young girls in our group, one of whom has a disability, and we truly loved every moment of our stay. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, enjoying drinks, and exploring the nearby town. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the entire staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. From the airport pickup to the team around the resort, the bartenders, and the restaurant staff, everyone made us feel right at home. We stayed in a beautiful two-bedroom beachfront villa with an ocean view, and it was perfect for our family. A special shout-out to Captain Larry, Edgar, Mario, Ivana, Jasmine, Kayla, and Queyli, as well as everyone else who helped make our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed 8 days as a couple in the hummingbird suite (3rd floor). The room was very large, modern, kitchen and sitting area. Bathroom fixtures were recently painted as evidence by the paint coming off on our hands daily. The balcony was amazing with an excellent view of the sea. All staff were amazing (pool bar, housekeeping, hostess, restaurant staff, lobby bar, grounds keeper and security). The grounds were kept impeccable. Security was always onsite. Booking adventures were easy to do and onsite as well. Onsite restaurant pricing was very high and wine choices were poor. We had excellent alternatives in the area. Noise in the room next to us started daily at about 5:30 AM and woke us up most days. This was addressed by staff and rectified. However, the last day the noise level next door to us was back to its 5:30 AM wake up call of kids screaming and having temper tantrums just like before. The prices in Hopkins for food and drink have skyrocketed since we have been coming to Belize for the past 7 years. The prices were more expensive than the USA. The airport was a nightmare this time overloaded with people.

One of the best resorts I’ve ever been too! The receptionist (who I can’t remember his name) was wonderful. He gave us a tour and very helpful information of the resort. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. I loved all the little small touches they added throughout. I highly recommend this resort and would plan another trip back!

My family recently stayed at the Colonial at Jaguar Reef for 5 nights and had an amazing experience! Our suite was large, clean, and modern, and the views over the beach and ocean were spectacular. Our teen children enjoyed swinging off the ropes at the Dock Bar, while us parents enjoyed homemade ceviche and drinks in the overwater Bar. The pools were plenty and always immaculately clean. The only issue we found was that it was not always easy to find food/snacks in the middle of the day away from meal times. With teenagers that are always hungry it would be nice if they had a small cantina/beach bar that offered simple snacks throughout the day. Other than this it was a perfect stay, and we cannot say enough about the amazing staff! Thank you Captain Larry for always greeting us with a smile and wave each morning, and for the rest of the staff that were always pleasant and helpful. We will be back!

Bill and I loved the colonial inn at Jaguar reef. Room was amazing but most importantly the people who worked there were wonderful. Tariq and Julio and Kala who were guest services were above and beyond fantastic, making us feel like friends and family. Super helpful on a daily basis, checking in with us on basics as well as just "how are things going". Kala leant me her own sewing kit, Tariq would swing by and chat as well as made us feel like friends. Julio is so sweet and was willing in every way. Thank you to everyone at Jaguar Reef, can't recommend enough. You will be well cared for. And so much to do from the paddle boards to kayaks to tours and 2 story bar out on a dock, plus amazing food and beautiful beach, you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

If i could get this place 1000 stars i would! From the rooms, food, to direct access to the beach and customer service. Special shout outs to , Priscilla, Val , Tyrek, Julio, Jason , captain Larry and Alisha. You all turned my vacation to family. Yall treated us so well and i will never forget that. I had the best time and will definitely be back !! One love !!

12/10. Not only is this one of the most stunning places I've ever stayed, the staff are incredible and so kind. We have never felt so welcomed and looked after. Special mention to Chris our host and Captain Larry. Chris was so lovely and helpful, we really feel he took care of us and was SO attentive and I witnessed him treat all the guests with the same courtesy! Captain Larry was an absolute legend, he was also so informative and gave us tips on where to kayak to to see manatees. He is so funny and really looks out for the guests, making sure they book great tours and know what they will experience. All the staff here are so great, but those 2 were standout. I would return and stay here again any time! We stayed in the Muna air bnb and the Colonial. All of the rooms and different sections of the hotel are all stunning, would highly HIGHLY recommend staying here.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing and very friendly… Nothing seems to much for them and they are willing to accommodate any requests The beach area is kept clean and tidy with the adjoining properties that are part of the same group offer the same levels of service. Full of different characters and you can’t visit without speaking to Captain Larry, he is knowledgeable about the surroundings and able to offer great advice on places to visit….
