The hotel environment was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. However, unfortunately, the amenities were very poor and significantly affected our experience. This is the first hotel I have stayed in over the years that had no air conditioning. The rooms became extremely hot, particularly during the recent warm weather, making it very uncomfortable. At the very least, the management should have provided portable air-conditioning units or fans. There were also several maintenance issues. Some of the sinks were blocked, while a number of room doors were either jamming, unable to close properly, or could not be opened with the room keys. This caused considerable inconvenience and resulted in long queues at reception, as guests had to wait to resolve these issues. Another disappointment was the additional charge for car parking, even for guests staying at the hotel. I found this unreasonable and would expect parking to either be included for hotel guests or offered at a much more reasonable rate. Overall, although the hotel was clean, the poor amenities, maintenance issues and additional parking charges significantly detracted from our stay. I hope management will take these concerns seriously and make the necessary improvements for future guests.

It is also clean, tidy, and well-equipped with all the standard amenities one would expect from a reasonably priced establishment. During my stay, I encountered a couple of drawbacks. On my departure, I noticed a cockroach near the bathroom toilet — an issue I suspect is largely due to the warm weather and therefore not something easily within the hotel’s control. Additionally, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. When windows are left open for ventilation, it is possible to hear conversations and noise from the hallway.
