Hyatt Place Houston Nrthwst/cy Fair

Trip. Com has done nothing but inconvenience me. Waste my time. Take my money.... I'm in tears because my very good friend who is like family to me passed away. I came to Houston for funeral and booked through trip.com I will tell everybody I know that this company is horrible and will not provide professional customer service or even compensation after all of the hassle. I will go through anyone else but this company. They need to go out of business. I've never been upset so many times because a booking company took my money and left me in a bind.

Overall the place is solid and in a good location. My problem was something bit me all over my body and I couldn’t tell you what it was. I thought maybe a mosquito got me outside until I went to sleep and woke up with bug bites all over my body. I told the front desk upon check out and they will close off the room and get pest control, but I wish I didn’t have to be the one trying to figure out if it was bed bugs, mosquitoes, or scabies smh

We booked months in advanced and when we arrived they told us they didn't have the room style we paid for available. The pool was green all week. Breakfast was not as advertised food was limited, cold, burnt and very obvious that they didn't care many people complaining. This was very disappointing stay unlikely to ever stay there again.

Where do I start. We prepaid with ******* and arrived to the Hotel around 10:30pm. After unloading the car and waking the kids up we proceeded to the entrance to find the front doors locked. No one was at the front desk. We tried to use the intercom system and did not get an answer. We called the hotel several times, no answer. After about ten minutes of waiting another family showed up and we told them our dilemma so they started calling as well. *Note: When we first arrived a large sketchy looking guy walked out of the lobby while we were unloading smoking something (not a cigarette). After 15 minutes of waiting outside the same sketchy individual is walking through the lobby. He must have entered through a side door. At this point we're beating on the door. Of course sketchy dude doesn't come to the door, but instead hops on the elevator. Exactly two minutes later a guy dressed in jeans, crocs, and a hoodie comes to the door and unlocks it. He proceeds to my disbelief, to say " checking in". I was in total shock, like dude, you work here? So, I give him a once over, dudes eyes are super red, like I can't tell if he was high or asleep. He steps behind the counter and I tell him that we were outside for almost twenty minutes. His response was, well I'm the only one here, sooooo.

Staff had no idea how to book rooms. Gave me 2 different rooms, key opened door they were occupied. Finally got a room, next night someone else entered my room, said it was theirs. Then front desk called in an accusatory voice told me I was in the wrong room. How is it up to me to be in the wrong room, manager said it wasn’t my fault, no kidding…overpriced for what I got, had high hopes but no. Will not be back…

En general esta bien pero el desayuno nunca hay nada, no hacen el cuarto diario se supone q cada tres días y tampoco y está algo lejos del centro de Houston

Me gustó mucho muy limpio y muy atento el desayuno espectacular muchas gracias por la atención y los empleados bien atento todos por igual
