My boyfriend booked this through a 3rd party. They told him at check-in they had low water pressure. By the time I arrived at 11 at night there was zero water pressure. He took pictures of a roach 🪳 that was in the restroom earlier that day. I asked him if he killed it, he says no it ran out into the kitchenette area. I immediately said, no way am I staying here. I called the front desk on speaker bc no way would I put that filthy looking phone to my face. I didn’t even want to dial the zero, it was gross looking. I proceeded to tell front desk girl (Ikesha) about the no water at all and the roach and asked if she could switch our room. Of course she had nothing else available. Then I ask for a refund and again, of course not. My boyfriend jumps in on the convo since it’s on speaker to correct her on the water pressure issue because she told me that he was told at check in about the water. He says in a firm tone, I was told low water pressure not no water pressure. Mind you he is sitting across the room so he had to speak up for her to hear him. Then she says you can leave since you want to yell at me. Then he threatens to call the police since she won’t refund the money since there is no running water. Then she says, you need to leave, I’m sending security up to your room to escort you out for yelling at me. But little did she know we were leaving anyway there’s no way I would stay with no water and roaches. she said no refund but we did get the refund from the third-party it was booked with since we had everything recorded. The bad thing is the next place we went only thing that was bailable for midnight check in was the Baymont Westchase. They have roaches too. So left that place and now at Best Western Plus Westchase. So far so good but I’ll do a review after check out. You get what you pay for, that’s for sure!!
