This was my second time staying there in the past three months. I was happy with my stay on both occasions. It is a basic hotel. However, it is clean, comfortable and safe. The staff is friendly, and they offer housekeeping services every day. There was plenty of free parking and an ice machine is located on the premises. The area is nice and located right by the freeway and a grocery store within a short walking distance..

There were ants in the bathroom, the shower head was literally falling out of the wall, no coffee pot, no wifi, the ice bucket was cracked and leaked, the ice machine only worked part of the time and was very old and dirty, the floors were dirty, the “continental breakfast” was packaged tiny muffins, packaged oatmeal and Raisin Bran. Coffee was only available from 7-9 am and the vending machine was out of order. The ONLY positives were that the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

I was grateful to find an opening at this hotel. You can tell that theye are working hard to remodel the rooms and common room. The staff did their best and were friendly.

My room was not clean. My sheets were dirty my toilet had cigarette burns on it. My shower water was horrible. my room was located upstairs, but every time I wanted to use the stairs it was someone sitting on them.

No working ice machine on the property. It would also be a big improvement to out a coffee maker in the rooms, every other hotel has had coffee makers in their rooms for 20 years now, so they a little behind on that.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. However, my recent stay at this hotel had its challenges. Firstly, the area turned out not to be considered safe by locals, which I only discovered upon arrival. If you're looking for proximity to the museum district within walking distance, this isn't the place. Walking in Houston's humid summer heat is uncomfortable, and the roads aren't pedestrian-friendly. Although the air conditioning was effective, it was also noisy, disturbing my sleep. I had to turn it off to get any rest. To make matters worse, one night I endured disruptive neighbors from about 2 am to 4 am, with screaming, laughing, and loud banging on doors. In summary, safety concerns and noise issues made my stay less than satisfactory. I hope the hotel management takes note of these problems for future improvements.

Receptionist was rude and unhelpful and wouldn’t check me in for over and hour and it was 1am. Made me call third party website and wouldn’t offer any support or help and treated me poorly. Hotel had cockroaches on the floor.
