Great location especially since we spent time at museums. Room was dirty. Cleaning supplies left in room when we first entered. Went to bathroom and clump of hair left on toilet seat. This property is nice but a bit over rated I believe.

This is an amazing hotel! It is spotless and beautifully maintained. The room was spacious and wonderful. Next to three Art museums and has a shuttle to assist with getting around. The front desk was amazing and helpful. Santiago at the bar is a real standout and worth the trip just to see him and drink his delicious cocktails! Will definitely come back.

It is a nice place, but for a place that costs what this place does, the service wasn't on par. Usually places that are on a certain level offer to bring your luggage to your room. I had to bring everything up the steps to get to the lobby and then I had to bring my luggage to my room. The room was small and fair at best. The lounge had good cocktails and appetizers.
Overall, this place isn't worth the cost.

Easy check in. Room is outdated but very clean. Housekeeping service is exceptional! The Monarch restaurant is a must. My favorite cocktail is The Hot Paloma! Service at the restaurant is very fast and the ambiance is perfect for a getaway weekend! Definitely my place to go to when I need to decompress!

Front desk was really cold. Service was really bad. They hang up on me and even wanted to cancelled my stay. The building is also old and dark. Your mood will just go bad if you stay there.

The area is nice to have an authentic experience of Houston Texas. The hotel is in the middle of the heart of the city.
The bathrooms need to be updated and my room smelled as a smokers room.

Very quaint place to stay. Upscale, the shuttles were awesome. Only thing would be the shower, seemed a little underwhelming for the hotel. Great stay

Lovely boutique hotel, doesn’t feel like you are even in Houston. Patio dining is delightful and bar was fun! Love the balcony view.
