總統酒店(The President Hotel)

Accueil juste moyen, long. Chambre assez spacieuse, propre. Mais elle donne sur une rue très bruyante, klaxons une bonne partie de la nuit et de bonne heure le matin. Heureusement ce n'est que pour 1 nuit. Literie confortable. Diner dans un cadre surprenant très sombre style grotte. Plats pas mauvais du tout, service rapide et souriant. Nous avons cependant été victime d'une indigestion dans la nuit et forcément on fait un rapport avec le diner… On suspecte l'hygiène du lieu. Comme c'est très peu éclairé on ne s'est pas rendu compte. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt décevant. Pratiquement rien de bon. Et la propreté des couverts laisse à désirer.

我和我的妻子最近在這家酒店住了 6 個晚上（1 月 30 日至 2 月 5 日）。我們在酒店住得很愉快。房間和服務都非常出色。從我們入住到退房，工作人員都很友好，服務很棒。從接待處（接待處的安德烈斯非常樂於助人）到餐廳（Jungle 和 Gufa）以及房屋清潔的所有工作人員都非常關注我們的需求。雖然晚餐的菜品還不錯，但自助早餐有很多選擇，而且食物的質量非常好。總的來說，我們在酒店度過了一段美好的時光，我們非常想在訪問胡布利達爾瓦爾時再次入住那裡。

The stay was good. All staff are courteous. Breakfast was delicious. Room Service and House Keeping was excellent. Right in front of Unkal Lake centre place for going to City and as well as Dharwad. I will recommend this Hotel for any one traveling to Hubli.

Stayed at the hotel with family on a road trip. Very Good hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a mid size budget range in hubli. The location of the hotel is on the highway and opposite lake Unakal. The restaurants are theme based with their Jungle themed one on the top floor with a great view of lake Unakal. Buffett breakfast is served with a vegetarian spread (tasty South Indian food). Enjoyed with a good looksy of the lake and surrounding areas. The hotel is pretty fresh and new, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Valet parking available for your vehicle. Bar is inhouse for the weary travellers, especially after a long drive. 🤣

Our stay at the hotel was very very comfortable. The location of the hotel is really wonderful just opposite the Unkal Lake. The view of the lake and the surroundings from the Gufha Restaurant, which is on the terrace of the hotel, is simply a treat to the eyes during morning as well as at night. The quality, variety and the taste of the food is amazing. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast having variety of South Indian and other delicacies. The staff and the persons at the desk are very courteous and helpful and always provided service with a smile. Since the hotel is located in between Hubli and Dharwad, it was very easy to move around and visit the musical heritage places of Kirana Gharana which included that of Ustad Abdul Karim Khan, Pandit Puttaraj Gawaylgalu, Sawai Gandharva, Kesarbai Kerkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Vidushi Gangubai Hangal, Pandit Mallikarjun ***sur and some others. We could also visit Dr. Gangubai Hangal Gurukul and personally meet Vaishnavi Hangal, Ustad Faiyaz Khan and Pandit Ganapati Bhat. We were also fortunate to personally meet Pandit Venkatesh Kumar ji, Ustad Chhote Rahimat Khan, Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi at their residences. The tour was conceptualised by one of my classical music lover friend from Kolkata and it was well organised, coordinated and made possible by another classical music lover lady from Hubli who was living earlier just opposite of Gangubai Hangal's residence and is a family friend of Vaishnavi Hangal. I feel grateful to write this review here as it turned out to be a memorable Musical Heritage Tour added by the comfort of our stay at the Hotel President. This is a nice and decent hotel with an affordable price. Located in a picturesque location in the heart of Hubli, it's definitely value for money. The rooms are nicely done up with fresh linens and quite spacious too. The jungle restaurant at the terrace has a breathtaking view of the Unkal lake. The terrace overlooks the grand Unkal lake and the street. The breakfast spread is also exhaustive with very delicious dishes. I tasted carrot idly for the first time here. The staffs also are very prompt and friendly. They attended each customers with care and lot of attention. I'm really pleased to write this as a first time visitor. I started at ***y places in Hubli in the past but I like this very much in front whether it's price, location, service or value for money. I would like to come back to this place again and again. I specially mention Ms. Puja for her leadership qualities.

We have stayed with my family the hotel staff is very friendly and warm welcome by the guest. Security helped us for valet parking and luggage shifting. Reception staff given us a check very fast and friendly bell boy taken us to room and explained about all the hotel. We enjoyed food was very tasty and service is excellent. Rooms maintained clean and hygiene.

One of Hubli’s most popular restaurants is the President. Checked in on a business tour- the rooms are clean and well kept. My special appreciation to the reservation and the reception team to cater to my requests. The breakfast was superb- hot, fresh and delicious. Loved the way the dosa was made, and ended up eating 2 . Overall a very good stay. Thank you Team President!
