Superbe étape de 3 jours à Hvar. On serait bien resté une nuit de plus. Hôtel intimiste, personnel aux petits soins (notamment Niko). Suite familiale en hauteur avec vue superbe et excellent confort. L’eau et le café sont en libre service, l’accès à la mer est direct, la ville est à 10mn à pied (très agréable). Un coup de cœur

This is an extremely well-maintained hotel with an excellent staff from top to bottom. Our room was modern and new. Housekeeping promptly cleaned our room each morning and freshened up the room each evening. We were here a total of 4 nights. We had lunch once at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. They have beautiful pools on the property and a really nice pool bar with great bartenders. The grounds are also beautiful. The interesting feature of this hotel is that it is a family affair. We ran into so many of the staff whose families work with them at the hotel. They take great pride in this hotel and they each go out of their way to make your stay a special one.

As a seasoned traveler who always reads these reviews before booking, I ought to know better when several negative reviews have unprofessional responses from the hotel management. I typically would never book there. However, I forgot to read them in this case and it would have been a sign of things to come during my stay for sure. We requested a larger room upon check in as ours (an attic room) was so much smaller and much darker than it appeared on the site. My husband was ill and we needed more space for him as he was going to be in the room much of the time. We had been traveling for a month, so we had more luggage than that room could accommodate. I was told I could see a larger room the next morning if I came to the front desk at the check out time for others. Noon. I did that and was told the manager would not let me see a room until 4 pm when it was clean. I explained the situation to Kristina at the front desk (who is not empowered to do anything, sadly) and she told me there were only a few rooms to show me but that her manager would not allow me to see them until they were clean. I explained that I needed to get on with my day and get my husband settled-- I was happy to see through the mess and determine if it was large enough. The manager, a woman who is also the chef, appeared and had to be the rudest woman breathing in Croatia. She should not be dealing with the public under any circumstance. I won't go into the level and details of her commentary and iciness, but I sat at the front desk for hours waiting and asking if they could perhaps clean these few rooms first since they knew I needed to quickly look at them. Finally, my ill husband came to the front desk and Kristina must have felt sorry for him because suddenly the room was free to look at! This ordeal took most of the day. My husband had to move all the bags to the room himself and get back to bed. Other notes: This hotel is far off the beaten path from the city center, so prepare to walk quite a bit. The hotel food is barely average. There are not enough lounge chairs at the smallish pool for everyone to have a seat and the drink (cocktail) menu is incredibly limited. The staff do not smile much, for obvious reasons, with the bright exception of the most extraordinary massage therapist I have ever encountered-- Bogdana. Amazing massage in spite of the slamming dishes from the kitchen behind the one massage room. She had to ask them to quiet down multiple times. I felt bad for her. There are amazing places to stay in Hvar and this is not one of them. Choose another.

Awesome hotel. It is 10-15 minute walk from the main town/harbor region, so less hustle and bustle. It is a luxurious hotel that sits on a hill and extends to the water. Great rooms, service, and facilities. Breakfast “buffet” was excellent. Front staff were very helpful. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. It has outside pools and what I saw and inside pool. It is like staying in a private luxurious villa. If you like loud noises and hustle and bustle, stay in town. If you like privacy and luxury, stay here. The seaside walking path from town and hotel and a wonderful walk everyday.

We stayed for 5 nights in August, in the 2 bedroom suite. When selecting the hotel, we looked at a number of options including all of the leading places, and selected this one because of the pool, beach, accommodation and location (an easy 10 min walk along the promenade, so a little more peaceful and less crowded than the hotels right in the centre). The hotel was really excellent - as were all of the staff, in particular Kristina who was so helpful in getting activities arranged/ reservations in place. It was also a hit with our teenagers. Room was very comfortable and the terrace was beautiful.

The hotel was absolutely perfect. Small and smart. Staff were so friendly and helpful; especially matilda and Kristina on the front desk who organised dinners and ferry’s and boat trips Clean and bright: pool area was stunning and had comfy chairs and umbrellas. Had a massage with Maia and can recommend.

A bit late with this review but needed to be done. My wife and I stayed in late May with family and friends for our son and his fiancés wedding in Hvar. We had planned this a year in advance having fortunately found it walking along the promenade before it had officially opened. We had the most amazing stay in a beautiful hotel in a lovely location close to but not in the hubbub of Hvar town. Andelka is a superb owner/host and her staff so friendly, patient and accommodating especially with our group as we prepared for the wedding with all the inevitable stress, emotion, joy and post celebrations. The rooms were all new, kept spotlessly clean by super friendly domestic staff and everyone that stayed loved the contemporary styling whether in sea or garden view rooms. Breakfast in the ground floor terrace restaurant was a delightful way to start the day. There is a beautiful terraced pool area with spectacular views out to sea and there is a bar serving excellent food and drinks during the day. The hotel runs a luggage shuttle service to and from the port so no need to drag heavy luggage along the promenade (one of my favourite holiday strolls) as you walk around 15 minutes along the coast to the hotel. Thank you to everyone that works at Hotel Moeesy for making it such a special celebratory week for us all ❤️ We love Hvar and we particularly love this hotel and have promised ourselves we will return ❤️

AVOID THIS HOTEL. - It’s located far away from the center but you can hear music playing 24/7. - The food menu is very limited, we have to pick up food from other restaurants (and there is no food delivery in Hvar) - The hotel facilities are poor. The gym is always dirty and there is no water. - The staff, specially in the reception, is rude and disrespectful. - If you order to the room, they will bring whatever they understood. We have to send the food back 3 times till they understood that we wanted a Cesar salad. - DO NOT USE THEIR LAUNDRY SERVICES. They ruined everything I sent. - No glasses for wine in the room. - they won’t give you bathrobes. - The staff doesn’t speak English. It was the most horrible experience we have ever had in a 5 starts hotel.

I was truly amazed by this hotel. It is very close to the beach but you can stay at the pool area. My recommendation is to go for a quick swim in front of hotel and then hang out in pool area. Personnel is very nice and the service is great but most rewarding is to drink coffee near the restaurant and just enjoying the view. Big recommendation

Moeesy is one of the most excellent luxury boutique hotels we have stayed in worldwide. This incredible hotel has fantastic amenities, comfortable rooms, and an outstanding staff. The location is exceptional because it is close to downtown Hvar, yet far enough to avoid all the craziness and noise of late-night partygoers. The best part is the three pools overlooking the ocean, which no other 5-star hotel in Hvar offers. If you are staying at this hotel, utilize Kristina’s help and all her wonderful recommendations for restaurants and tours. Her recommendation was outstanding and made our trip so much more memorable. We first stayed at Hotel Moeesy in July for a week, and we fell so in love with the place that we booked another week in August. This boutique hotel has an excellent location, just a 10 to 15-minute walk to the city center along a beautiful, scenic path. Surrounded by lush greenery, the hotel also boasts a gorgeous pool area. With only 30 to 40 rooms, the hotel offers an intimate and charming atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and I highly recommend booking a room with a sea and pool view – the vistas are simply fantastic. The staff at Hotel Moeesy is truly exceptional. My partner has a gluten allergy, and they went above and beyond to ensure he had safe and delicious meals. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of options. Given my lactose intolerance, I was especially touched when the breakfast staff made chia pudding with oat milk for me every day. It’s those personal touches that make this hotel stand out. Special kudos to Christina at the reception, who was incredibly welcoming and provided us with fantastic tips to make our stay even more memorable. We had some of the best days we've ever experienced, thanks to her suggestions. In short, this is one of the best hotels we've ever visited, and we cannot wait to return again. If you're looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and luxurious stay in Hvar, Hotel Moeesy is the place to be!

My husband and I just left an amazing 4 day stay in Hvar traveling with our 1 year old daughter and his mom and stayed at Moeesy. We have traveled all over the world and have stayed at some of the top luxury properties, and our stay at Moeesy was easily hands down the best experience we have ever had- so much so that we tried to stay longer so that we didn’t have to leave. For starters- Kristina and the entire front desk and concierge staff were incredible to work with before we even arrived to the property. We have never been to Croatia before and wanted to get some good tips on restaurants and activities. I emailed Kristina and she was insanely helpful, had a ton of great advice, was very responsive and accommodating and even went as far to print out our itinerary and leave it in our room for us. She also kindly helped book all of our activities and most of our reservations. Once we got to the property, we instantly felt like we were at a home away from home. The entire staff was warm, kind and took extra care for our 1 year old daughter. Even when she was loud and getting into trouble, we were never made to feel uncomfortable. It feels like a family environment and we became part of the family. It made our stay extremely special. Finally, the rooms were perfect, always fresh and cleaned up, and everything was made extremely convenient. We had a wonderful breakfast downstairs every morning, the pool facilities are so beautiful and relaxing, and the location is top notch. It feels like an oasis away from the downtown madness, but an easy 2 minute walk to the best beach clubs and a stunning 10 minute walk on an ocean side path into town. We are sad to leave, but we will 100% be back. This is the must stay play in Hvar without question!!! Thank you hotel Moeesy! We will miss you!

Lovely hotel a short walk from the centre of Hvar. Beautiful interior and pool area with lovely outdoor seating and attentive staff. Our room was a little on the small side but we didn't spend much time in the room. The pool area for lounging is split on 3 levels and sometimes hard to get a sun lounger so you need to go early to the pool to secure a good spot. Breakfast was lovely although they make the eggs one by one, so sometimes we had to wait 15 mins or so for an omelette so this could be improved. Overall great service and a lovely setting, we'd definitely go back.
