Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten . Basic mooi huisje in het groen , met zwembad. Je hebt hier niet meer nodig! Heel lekker eten , zeer goed ontbijt. Vriendelijk en gedienstig personeel ! Istuti, Wasana en kok Sanil. Met de eigenaar Mr Shehan dolfijnen gaan spotten . Leuke trip en veel dolfijnen gezien . Prijs/ kwaliteit = top 👍

Мы прямо сейчас отдыхаем в Roshanne. Впечатления самые лучшие, тем более, что мы переехали сюда из другого отеля, где всё было плохо. Джарет- замечательный человек, готовый помочь в любом вопросе. В отеле чистота и порядок, замечательные номера с огромными кроватями и горами подушек. Чистота идеальная! Здесь все красиво : номера и территория. И ласковое море на мягком песке в двух шагах!

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience here, due to extremely unprofessional management. I booked directly on the hotel's website. When we arrived, the manager first claimed we had cancelled our booking, when we had done no such thing. Our rooms were very basic (tiny windows, hardly any furniture) but ok, with a beautiful verandah. Our bathrooms were very disappointing: toilet broke down constantly, the water from the sink ran straight onto the floor instead of draining away through piping. On several mornings, there was no water supply. Roomkeeping is almost non-existent unless you repeatedly ask for it. Someone in our family got sick at night, we had to wait until noon before it was cleaned up. The grounds of the resort are quite beautiful and the pool is enjoyable. We took half board. Some dinners and breakfasts were good, others were disappointing (nothing but fried rice for dinner or last night's leftover potato curry for breakfast). Restaurant staff were very friendly and courteous. We tried to book a boating activity but were offered one at double the price of what we got when we booked directly with a boat guide, so that felt like an attempted rip-off. The beach near the hotel is quite polluted with lots of plastic litter, not a place you can let your children play carefree. All of this would have been somewhat acceptable if we had been charged the rate that we got offered when I made the booking and for which I got a booking confirmation. To my shock and disgust, when going to check out, I was charged triple the price of my booking! The management claimed the website had offered me an incorrect price. He threatened to call the police if I didn't pay the triple rate. They ended up charging me a little less than that but still more than double than the rate I was given when booking. A price which is out of proportion to the quality of the stay. But most of all an extremely unprofessional and unpleasant way treating your guests by the management. Avoid.

We stayed here on a group trip and we were the only guests. I think we were one of the first clients. The rooms are small huts with a good bed and AC. Some parts of the room like the ceiling were dirty/worn and could use an update. The bathroom is very basic and could use a few shelves, but it has a good water heater. The bathroom is also not closed off (window 'hole', big gaps under the door) so bugs can enter. Food: tasty! You have to order in advance because they have to go into the city to buy your food (takes 1-2 hours). Good breakfast! Service: Everyone did their best. Some were inexperienced and a bit awkward. The owner hovered around us and his staff, stood next to us while we waited for food etc and made us uncomfortable sometimes. The owner had recently bought the hotel and he said multiple times that we could ask anything and that they were open for feedback. When we gave feedback, he always had en explanation ready. Hotel environment: very nice outside space, we had great evenings on our terrace. It looks lovely and is very well maintaned. Nice pool, but the sunbeds didn't arrive yet so no place to lay down. If you cross the street, there's a nice beach but there are no facilities available. Also lots of trash on the beaches in Kalpitaya. Biggest downside for us: there is absolutely nothing to do/see in the hotel environment. No restaurants, bars, ... in walking distance or 10 minutes further in the city center. We always ate at the hotel and went into town to get some snacks at the supermarket to have a game night.

However, upon arrival, they informed us that they could not accommodate us and that there was no food available. This lack of communication and preparation ruined our plans and left us in a difficult situation. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Without a doubt, Kalpitiya's greatest beach resort is Roshanne Beach Resort. The food is excellent, the staff is very helpful and polite, and the accommodations are spacious and well-kept. The resort's beachside setting is ideal for a tranquil vacation. We had a great experience and are forward to go again.

The ideal balance of activity and leisure may be found at Roshanne Beach Resort. The personnel is outstanding, the rooms are cozy, and the beach is immaculate. I love this place. Thank you for every this Roshanne Beach Resort. We had an amazing experience and are eager to return!

We enjoyed an amazing time at Roshanne Beach Resort with our family. The resort has excellent amenities for kids and adults alike, such as a beautiful pool and a variety of beach activities. Our visit was enhanced by the extraordinarily friendly staff. The resort is in a great spot for a family vacation. We are eager to come back!
