Airconditioning failed constantly and for the majority of my stay there was not airconditioning and it was extremely hot in the room. The hotel refused to compensate for this. The wifi connection was very poor and annoying as had to keep reconnecting. Restaurant was closed one week early without informing guests in any way, and despite the broken airconditioning issue being known about by all staff, this was hidden from guests and the reception tried to pretend it was an issue only in my room, but then another member of reception said they were well aware of it and that it was affecting the whole hotel. This was deeply dishonest and unprofessional and it was clear that the duty manager had instructed some staff not to admit that there was a major breakdown of the airconditioning, while seemingly forgetting to tell other members of staff not to admit to this. There is an issue of health and safety regarding almost no barriers, except for a flimsy rope to protect guests from falling off the edge onto rocks in the area near the pools that leads down to further areas to sunbathe and towards the tiny beach at the hotel Bonsol which anyone can go to. At breakfast, there is only coffee from machines and the quality of this coffee is truly terrible and frankly undrinkable. It´s also difficult to get hot milk to put into your tea or coffee. There seemed to be a shortage of napkins on tables and when I put down my plate and cutlery at a table and went to get something, when I got back, someone had taken my napkin from next to my plate! There was also a huge mosquito issue in the lobby of the hotel, to the extent that I got bitten each time I even passed through to go in or out of the hotel.
