裏萊斯奧爾默別墅酒店(Relais Villa Olmo)

Les points positifs: la gentillesse des filles de l'accueil, la chambre grande et confortable, une salle de bain très belle, un bon petit déjeuner, une piscine jolie avec une beau panorama. Les moins: une attitude plutôt désagréable et hautaine du personnel du store. La chambre no16: située en dehors de l'hôtel, une annexe de l'établissement, il faut passer à l'arrière de la cuisine pour la rejoindre. Elle est sombre avec des barreaux aux fenêtres, au bord d'une route passante et vue sur un magasin agricole. Vraiment pas chic.

Relais Villa Olmo is well connected and known in the small village but is severely lacking in refinement. On check-in, the various reception ladies were warm and welcoming. However, service dropped off from there. The “Please Clean/Do Not Disturb” sign was troublesome as it kept blowing away. We missed a day’s cleaning and the next day, at 2:15, our room was not cleaned. We were told the housekeepers did not see the sign (we found it blown into the bushes). Evidently, the housekeepers leave at 2:15, and it was quite difficult for them to muster half of a cleaning. There is no sense of a unifying management. We have never seen a manager, and it was painfully obvious. My wife, on the third day was refused breakfast because the hostess did not recognize her, and I was already eating. At the restaurant, we had the worst meal of our 2 weeks in Italy. Our first, and last dinner at Villa Olmo, was boiled dry pasta that was actually crunchy-no, not al dente, but crunchy. The creamy pecorino sauce was both bland, and extremely salty. That was left un-eaten. The near-by couple, also complained of a different overly salty entree. The secondie was the highly anticipated regional stew, yet quite a bland disappointment. The chocolate tort dessert was also left uneaten. Thank goodness for the olive oil and balsamic to hydrate the dry bread. The breakfast was standard and had optional (for a price) items. The buffet had old slimy eggs that they did not refresh. That same old chaffing dish was left standing. In conclusion, I would recommend a small and more personable B&B that is more attentive. While tourists are bussed in for meals and tastings, I would recommend any other small local restaurants. The best meal we had was at Castello di Gabbiano’s restaurant, the Il Cavaliere. If not Michelin rated-it will be.

Traumhafte Lage mit Blick in das Tal. Personal äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sehr schöne Anlage, wir haben uns mit einer Ausnahme recht wohl gefühlt. Nicht gefallen · Wir hatten das Zimmer 5, es hatte ein Terrasse, allerdings sind die Terrassenmöbel derart schlecht beieinander, dass man Angst haben muss, sich drauf zu setzen. Wirkt wie Marke IKEA. Bei einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse kann auch bei Terrassenmöbeln etwas bessere Qualität erwartet werden. Auch eine Liege wäre bei der Terrasse wäre nett gewesen. Da unmittelbar neben der Terrasse auch der Abgang zum Pool ist, ist man halt nicht so wirklich abgeschieden. Evtl. könnten hier Pflanzen als Trenner etwas bewirken. Das Frühstück wird serviert, es wird immer aufgezählt was es gibt und man bestellt. Klingt vielleicht aufs erste recht komfortabel, aber es kommt jeden Tag dann etwas anders oder anders zubereitet. Ein Buffet wäre uns lieber gewesen. Auch dass das Ei in Rechnung gestellt wird ist nicht üblich. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen Essen super. Wir saßen auf der Terrasse und genau zum Zeitpunkt wo unser Hauptgang kam, musste sich leider eine Person eine Zigarette anzünden. Jeder Happen eines EUR 40,- Steaks mit Nikotinbeigeschmack ist nicht meine Sache. Wäre Zeit, dass endlich, zumindest in der gehobene Gastronomie, generell das rauchen Geschichte ist. Zumal es hier Platz gäbe auf der anderen Rasenfläche, um seine Sucht zu befriedigen. Personal versuchte in netter weise versuchte hier zu vermitteln, aber .... .

We were fortunate enough to stay in Villa UVA, which gave us our own two-story villa, private veranda, and pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside. Our travel concierge, Cheryl Martel, recommended this property (and planned our trip around being able to stay here) and we could not have been happier. From the dinners at the restaurant, to wine tastings at the Vineyard, and sampling the local Olive Oils produced on site, we have been in heaven. We would come back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I just returned from a week at this beautiful wine and olive oil small luxury resort and give our experience five stars! The setting, accommodations and amazing personable staff made our trip something we will always cherish. Gloria helped me plan the our stay six months prior to our arrival and guided us to local tours and activities. They arranged taxi's for our trips in to Florence and were flexible in helping us when our plans change unexpectedly. The restaurant staff were all friendly and welcoming and the dinner and lunch menu's was delicious. We toured the small winery on the property and sampled the olive oils and wines in the small tasting room. The villa was a former nunnery has a wonderful history and the ancient stone building around the property are impressive and blend in beautifully into the Tuscan landscape. Impruenta is the local village walking distance from the resort and we participated in their weekend market and church service which was very special. The small size of the resort made us feel like part of their family and we so look forward to returning on our next Tuscany adventure.

Extremely romantic, unbelievably Tuscan dreamy experience. Wine tasting and olive tasting superb, breakfast and dinner is everything you could hope for. Leo, the waiter in the restaurant, provides customized service like no other. We were on our honeymoon and he exceeded all our expectations. Florence quick drive away.

Arrived after dusk and trying to figure out how to get to our hotel with 2 luggages searching our stay. Word of advise, travel light with backpack only. Not a good experience lugging up and down these stairs especially in the dark. But overall, we love the place. My expectation was wow. Better than I expected. Highly recommend this place. I would love to go back in future.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we LOVED it! The Resort itself is amazing with views someone only dreams about when staying in Tuscany. The staff was so helpful with suggestions prior to our arrival. The restaurant itself was incredible. We will definitely go there again.
