It is DIRECT OCEANFRONT & BEACHFRONT with Amazing views!!! Private ocean view patio! This unit is immaculate and pride of ownership is evident throughout. Maalaea village is a gem with its central location and its fantastic trade winds. They provide a cooling breeze that keeps the temperatures just right. Beautifully landscaped grounds with a pool and BBQ. Any stress you have will melt away. Slip into the pool and enjoy the ocean view while you relax in the Maui sun.Perfect central location to go explore the island! Or take a day to just relax to catch a glimps of green sea turtles rolling in the surf or bobbing up for air, even sunning themselves on the beach. In the winter months (Nov-April) you will have a front row seat to breaching whales as they come back to the islands to give birth, nurse, and play with their young!At the end of our cul-de-sac is Sugar Beach, 2-3 minute walk from the unit. Sugar Beach has the longest stretch of sandy beach on Maui. 5 miles of secluded sand to walk, run and beachcomb. Sugar Beach is very secluded and hardly ever has crowds. Sugar beach is protected from the road by the bird-filled-ponds of Kealia Wildlife Refuge. It is so amazing to walk this beach and literally feel like you have it all to yourself! A 5 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to Maalaea Harbor where you will find a small grocery store, gym, deli, restaurants, and the Maui Ocean Center (Maui’s #1 tourist attraction), the Pacific Whale Foundation, miniature golf, shopping and most of the ocean activities available on Maui (whale watching, sunset dinner cruises, deep sea fishing & snorkeling tours). Centrally located Maalaea, makes getting anywhere on the island easy. Approximately 15 minutes from the airport, a 5 minute drive south and you are in Kihei and a bit further, the resorts of Wailea. 20 minutes to the West is Lahaina. The complex is outfitted with two elevators: one front and center to the complex, the other one at the west end of parking lot. Stairwells are located next to each elevator. Trash is located on the west end of the complex, with each floor having a trash shoot next to the westward elevator. A common seating area in the middle of the complex leads out to a sprawling green lawn that runs right up to the ocean where you can watch for feeding turtles, the occasional surfer, and whales depending on the season (the whales visit our island between the months of December- mid-April). In one-half mile walk you could be at the Maui Aquarium Ocean Center, go-cart, mini-golf, water fun center, or local harbor for catamaran sunset, snorkel, or whale watch cruises, restaurants, stores, etc. Pali trail is a short distance away to hike. Kealia Pond, a wildlife refuge, is about 1/2 mile on the 6+ mile sandy stretch of beach that begins in front of our condo building and leads to North Kihei. Haycraft park is one condo over a great place to have a picnic or charcoal grill. Twin Falls waterfalls and pools are a short drive away and a short walk back from the parking area. Organic Ocean Vodka upcountry has great food, music, and views. Kuau, about 1-mile past Paia on the left (Makai - oceanside) has the best large sea turtles which come up with the waves at around 6p each evening. Hookipa also has numerous turtles that come up on the beaches and is a great place to windsurf.
