With surrounding woods, careful placement on the property, and no direct neighboring cabins (though we have neighbors), most guests feel pleasantly tucked away and removed from the outside world during their stay.The cabin sits just off Route 26, providing easy, year-round access, especially helpful in winter. Because of this, you may hear some light road noise during the day, particularly when windows are open or while in the front yard, and you may occasionally see cars pass by from the front or side yard (primarily in the winter when the trees are without leaves). Even so, the setting remains peaceful, and nights are typically very quiet once daytime traffic subsides.---We do not have blinds on any windows, with the exception of the bathroom. This is a thoughtful design choice meant to fully immerse you in nature and preserve uninterrupted views of the surrounding woods.Because of this, guests should be comfortable with an open, unobstructed connection to the outdoors, including in the bedroom. If having blinds or window coverings is essential for your comfort, this cabin may not be the right fit for your stay.The cabin is the only home on the property and sits on 3.5 private acres, offering complete privacy despite the lack of window coverings.
