Two Bicycles can be found in the shed to take a ride to the park along with two kayaks (take them to spend the day at bluestone lake only a 13 minute drive).This property is also very close to one of the few remaining Drive InTheaters .Winterplace is only 30 miles away. We are pet friendly please just message us letting us know you have a pet coming with you so we can approve them for your stay and send you the pet fee. The main level features a living room, Vaulted ceilings, Bear decor throughout the cozy cabin, flat screen TV in the living room, brand new queen size sleeper sofa, recliner, child’s rocking chair, and toys/ books for children. The bedroom features a brand new plush pillow top queen size mattress , tv, nightstand, bear lamp, and chest of drawers in the closet. The closet also has extra blankets, pillows for the sleeper sofa, a large comforter for the sleeper sofa, and extra sheets. There is also hangers in the closet. You will also find an iron and iron board if needed.There is also fully equipped kitchen and dining table, full bathroom/shower/ tub, and washer/dryer. We have a new Keruig that takes pods and will take ground coffee. We provide coffee pods and seasonal pods in the drawer below the Keurig. The deck features a 2 person hot tub and outdoor patio seating area. During the evening you may see deer crossing through the yard. In the morning, you will hear the birds singing. Enjoy a cup of coffee from the deck and watch the sunrise.The yard is very large for children to run around, dogs to play, and adults to play corn hole! The corn hole boards are in the shed. There is also a picnic table and grill around back!Take a walk around the neighborhood. Built in 1902 this 3 bedroom 1 bath cozy little gem overlooks the river in a panoramic fashion. It's sits on top of the hill just above the river, on a dead end street, but still only moments from I-64. It's in the perfect location to see any end of the New River Gorge National Park, is hidden in plain sight, and is located just outside the park boundaries. The house is a little crooked but very charming. It has plenty of utensils, cast iron skillets, and spices to cook or grill, best well water around, black out shades, wifi, games, large yard, covered porch overlooking the river, and many more… also new I started to build a trail that leads into the woods behind the property but they aren’t completely done however you may explore around hill behind you and the surrounding fields and don’t forget to look at all the fossils everywhere. You will enjoy waking up and seeing the river before your feet even hit the floor, having your coffee on the porch in the mornings, watching eagles and other birds, deer, and the abundance of other wildlife in our park, also playing and exploring with your family. Pets are welcome and will enjoy lots of space to play. I provide puppy towels and a pooper scooper. The yard is also now fenced in and the large front porch has a gate so your furry friend has options for going outside to lay in the sun. It really is a hidden gem. Lots of light is provided through the two story high windows and a huge wraparound deck and covered porch are easily accessed for outdoor dining. A stone fireplace with a pellet stove makes for cozy winters and above the fireplace whilst an authentic Black Bear watches over you. The kitchen of course is fully equipped with everything you would expect and the furniture in the living room is very comfortable. Towards the back, you will find the Master Bed Room with a queen bed. It connects to the Master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, toilet and a double vanity.The house offers easy access for those with moderate mobility problems, as we installed a gently sloping ramp between the parking lot and the front door.Upstairs, you will find two bed rooms, each with two twin beds. One of the two bed rooms has private access to the full bathroom with separate toilet, shower tub and double vanity. At the front of the house, there is a loft for relaxing with extensive views. On the lower level, you will find another bed room with a queen bed. The bathroom has a tiled shower, toilet and sink. The Family room offers a comfortable two seat sofa, a couch, an easy chair and a 42 inch TV. At the back of the cabin, there is a picnic table, fire pit and a park style grill.
