This beautiful beach stretches from the town of Waldport to the town of Yachats, where the beach becomes lava outcroppings. Attractions: There are many attractions both north and south of Beachside Suites. About 20 miles south are the Sea Lion Caves. Just north of the caves is the Heceta Light House, and some of the best views on the west coast. About 10 miles south of Beachside Suites is Cape Perpetua. This is a 500 foot cliff where tourists can view the ocean and outstanding sunsets. Just north of the Beachside Suites is Otter Rock. This is a very interesting and unusual group of rocks. About 15 miles north of Beachside Suites is the town of Newport where one can see the Oregon Coast Aquarium and 2 lighthouses. And right in the town of Waldport, the Alsea River meets the ocean. Highway 34 runs along the river.
