We visited during the Loch Ness marathon and the prices for this place were cheaper than others in the area however expensive for what it was. The room was clean but the bed was not greatly comfortable, and the towels felt like cheese graters on your skin. The floorboards outside the room creaked noisily so people accessing the other two rooms on our floor inadvertently made so much noise it woke me up, and the doors were not very quiet closing either. The other weird downside was the power situation. The plugs were so close to the carpet I couldn’t plug my multi-plug into it, and I had to unplug the one plug extension socket that powered the bedside lamp in order to be able to charge anything next to my bed.

I booked through a major booking site. I didn’t book breakfast although the guesthouse’s website still says it’s available. There is NO breakfast facility. I had a basic clean single room. En-suite facilities. Served it’s purpose. No frills.
