因佛內斯青年旅館(Inverness Youth Hostel)

我在這家旅館度過了愉快的時光！它讓我想起住在一個過夜營地，並有一種友好的社區意識。我還可以坐在大廳的電腦上工作（旅館還給了我免費的熱茶）。工作人員非常友善，讓我們立刻感覺很舒服。到達我的房間後，房間溫暖、舒適、乾淨。唯一的缺點是位置，步行約 20 分鐘即可到達市中心。不管怎樣，我住得很愉快，強烈推薦給在因弗內斯尋找舒適住宿地點的學生和朋友團體。

We were very impressed by our stay here. It was very nice to have access to the kitchen for our dinner and they had a very nicely priced breakfast available for us in the morning, which was extra nice because we needed to leave early. I would say that the location is "kind of" walkable. You definitely can walk to a grocery store and some restaurants, but it was a bit further than would strictly be called convenient. It was a nice walk though! The neighborhood is very nice and there are sidewalks the whole way. The room was great, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and it was just what we needed!

Abbiamo alloggiato qui una sola notte in occasione di un viaggio on the road in Scozia. Il check-in apre alle 16:00 e lo staff si è dimostrato da subito gentile e molto accogliente. All'ingresso c'è una colonnina per riempire la borraccia, servizio gratis e molto utile, per l'ambiente, per la comodità ma anche per il portafoglio! La stanza era giusta di dimensioni ma un po' antiquata e un po' fredda. Per il resto abbiamo trovato il materasso comodo e il bagno abbastanza grande rispetto agli standard oltre che un ambiente pulito. Al piano terra ci sono anche una cucina comune e un soggiorno grande in cui si può socializzare. Ultimo ma non meno importante, anzi direi ESSENZIALE è il parcheggio gratuito a due passi. Una simpatica e socievole gattina arancione vi saluterà nel giardinetto davanti alla struttura. Per raggiungere il centro della cittadina ci vogliono una 20ina di minuti a piedi ma il percorso è ben segnalato. Ci siamo trovati bene e sicuramente consigliamo questa catena di ostelli (che hanno anche camere matrimoniali private. come la nostra)!

Surprised by the single bed in the dorm. I don’t have to have anyone sleeping above me. Barely any plug sockets - was two by the door for a room of 4 people. The bedside lamp was very loud. You can tell the hostel has been around a while but still clean and friendly staff. Big communal kitchen and lots of seating. Would recommend again.

Very basic hostel compared to others I've stayed at. Beds were comfy. Rooms very warm but fans provided! Staff were helpful and friendly. Kitchen is a distance from room. Very very slippy outside entrance when raining- needs more signage.

Siamo arrivati la sera verso le 20.00 con mia figlia di quasi 11 anni e mio marito, con una prenotazione per una camera a 6 letti ad uso privato, avendo pagato in anticipo anche le colazioni per tre giorni. Appena arrivati abbiamo trovato alcuni ragazzi nella nostra stanza, nonostante dovesse essere chiusa in attesa del nostro arrivo. Purtroppo era però impossibile chiudere la stanza sia dal di dentro che dal di fuori a causa della rottura della serratura. In sintesi, la stanza pagata come privata, privata non lo era per niente, mettendo così a rischio sia la sicurezza di mia figlia che delle nostre cose. Il personale di reception è stato molto gentile ma non è riuscito a risolvere le cose. Penso che sia importante verificare il servizio che si viene offerto e che così lautamente viene pagato. Dunque se una camera viene affittata come privata sarebbe necessario verificare anticipatamente che possa essere chiusa. Alle nove di sera abbiamo dovuto lasciare l’ostello e trovare un’altra sistemazione che abbiamo dovuto pagare molto. A inverness è stato impossibile trovare altro. Oltre alla spesa e alle vacanze in parte rovinate, restiamo in attesa che ci vengano restituiti i nostri soldi visto che è stato impossibile usufruire del servizio.

Hosts were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with directions and activity suggestions.

Comodo punto di appoggio per un tour delle Highlands. Volendo c’è anche la possibilità di fare colazione.

This is a great place if you don’t mind being a little way out of the centre of Inverness. It was pretty quiet during the evenings but I had at quite a noisy room next to me which woke me up in the morning! Could do with an update on some facilities that other hostels have, such as usb chargers by the beds. Otherwise, good value for money and I slept well.
