史密斯頓酒店(Smithton Hotel)

Het hotel ligt aan een rustige weg. Heeft 2 verdiepingen zonder lift. Kamers zijn groot genoeg en badkamer is prima in formaat. Koffie maker op de kamer. Wij waren er in het weekend en alle gasten gingen gelijktijdig om 8 uur ontbijten. Er moest even flink gewerkt worden door de bediening. Schots ontbijt was prima. Parkeren doe je gratis voor de deur op hun eigen parkeerplek. Als je mede gasten luis praten hoor je het wel.

Lovely hotel and very friendly. We arrived too early to check in but the owner Pete? let us in and showed us to our very clean room. As we were leaving early the next morning to catch our flight home they made us a packed breakfast which was lovely. We had dinner in the evening and I must say the chicken curry was lovely. Thank you. Very friendly staff

What a wonderful little place!! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and warm, the food is great, and the staff is friendly. We had the two adjoining rooms which suited us perfectly. I also love all the old historical photos on the walls.

Good basic, accommodation everything under one roof for an overnight stop. Evening meal and breakfast were good. Staff nice and pleasant. Our twin room was a little cramped, I personally don't like a bed up against a wall, managed to headbutt the wall twice in the night. Maybe other twin rooms are possibly bigger??? Would stay again but not in a twin room

We visited here in 2019 and the staff was so amazing that they set the tone for our whole trip. Peter was so helpful and seemed to always be there working. We visited again September 2023 and were sad to miss Peter but his staff was still excellent.

Booked family room which were adjoining rooms 15/17 - two great rooms, plenty of space and loved that there were two of everything, bathrooms, TVs, hospitality trays etc. Son "baggsed" double bed so Mother and Father slept in two singles. Yes son is spoiled but the two rooms gave us a bit of privacy when the door was closed. We were advised about 70th birthday party on the Saturday of our stay but we were not disturbed. Breakfast really good especially the bacon! Would totally recommend Smithton Hotel to others and we are looking forward to a return visit which is always my benchmark when writing a review.

The owners and staff are what made our stay so good. Outside off putting inside warm and friendly, made to feel so welcome. Food excellent, room cosy, very clean, all the staff helpful and courteous. Knowledge of local area and attractions great. Easy check in and out. Would recommend

Tired and needs a refit. Smells from the kitchen go up to the rooms and there is a lingering smell of stale smoke. This is a place that is a pub first and hotel second.

Overall was average, very basic confort and food. however the was welcoming and did their best to provide a good service
