There is Christian stuff EVERYWHERE (very religious). The hotel needs an upgrade. The smell is horrible and the carpet is worse. The people are nice enough but I feel like I woke them up to check me in.

The hospitality was awesome! Very personable and sweet! Rooms were very clean and beds were nice. Plenty of food and drinks available. Very resable prices. Can check in late. Would recommend anytime.

We arrived and the check was fairly quick and staff were friendly. When arriving at our room it smelled very musty. The furniture was stained and very out dated. The bed in our room was super uncomfortable, you could feel the springs almost poking thru the mattress. Not sure we would stay there again.

Best place ever in a trip across country, over 7,500 miles. These folks made us feel like we were right at home. Very uplifting and encouraging visit during a looong trip. Truly refreshing to meet such wonderful folks! The room was clean and very quiet. Breakfast was great and the background music was so much better than some TV newsfeed! Do not stay here. There was no breakfast, broken sink, electrical wires showing, lights not functional, internet won't give password, charges for use of towels, pool not open to guests. We were even told couldn't park in parking lot.

We booked this hotel several months ago in anticipation of staying there for our anniversary. Upon arrival, the hotel itself looked pretty run down with religious propaganda on the billboard. I try not to judge based on that, just because I have a different view point and I know people value their religion. However, we went inside and there was WAY more religious propaganda to follow. I rang the bell and the woman came out and was annoyed by us being there, she then proceeded to yell at us for booking online instead of calling the hotel directly. After about a 25 minute lecture we went to our room and it smelled horrible. There was a used tissue on the ground as well. At this point we decided to check the rest of the area-the pool was completely shut down and clearly had been for a very long time. Not to mention in the lobby I had noticed zero breakfast area, so I knew what that meant. We immediately grabbed all of our things, left the key and never returned. We didn’t even entertain the idea of staying there more than 10mins and spent a good chunk of money we had saved for the trip to go to a completely different hotel which was very kind about helping us find a room there instead. So DO NOT stay here-spend the extra money and go to any other hotel.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Staff was friendly but slow and seemed confused.One of them may have been in training. Breakfast choices were limited, waffle maker was broken, but what they had was good.

Great hosts made me feel exceptionally welcomed. Nice property and value. The location is easy to get to on the north side of Iron Mountain. The room and bed were comfortable, and I appreciated the various pillows.

I was apprehensive when I drove up and there were religious quotes on the marquee. The desk staff were unorganized, fumbling to process my reservation. The room itself was updated as far as the furniture and bedspread/curtains. The smell was horrible. They way overdid it on some kind of spray like Lysol or Febreeze, I have scent allergies and had burning eyes and face immediately. I opened the window and turned on the exhaust fan. I had to leave the window and fan on the entire time. I left go go hiking and it was still bad 4 hours later. Worst nights sleep in a hotel. The continental breakfast was only a plate of small size muffins and coffee. When I checked out they couldn't fins my room immediately, then finally printed my receipt but when I go to the car it was someone else's so I had to go back in.
