Arrived and were checked in by a person basically reading from the manuscript she was taught. Got to my room which was not a king (which i ordered specifically and was about a miles walk from the elevator, but then again we all need exercise) and called to have it changed. Response from same person was " we don't have any more Kings. We apologize" When i ask why i had not been informed either upon ordering or at check in, I was again told "we apologize".
Later in the evening I returned from a meeting and wanted to purchase a glass of wine in the bar. There was one bartender who served both bar and lounge restaurant and was completely un interested in my presence. Once she finally came over after exactly 8 minutes, I asked for a selection, was handed a scan code and she walked away again for another 4 minutes. Once back, i order my wine, she serves 4 other customers first and then hands it to me, I paid with a 20$ bill and the only words that were uttered were "I have no change!" in an offended voice. I said keep the change and walked to my room only to find a spider who wanted to have the second of the two queen beds in the room. All in all an absolutely sub par experience which i am sure comes from management's lack of engagement.
