Wonderful stay at the Zetter Townhouse, great cocktails, even better service all round in a classy and quirky townhouse. Very well located for trains & Kings Cross/Liverpool Street. Would highly recommend.

I loved the Zetter Townhouse Clerkenwell! My room was so pretty and comfortable, the service was lovely, and the air-conditioning was a blessing during the July heat. The room was quiet and private and had came complete with all the typical amenities I expect from a nice hotel (fluffy towels, robes, good soap products, bottled water, etc.) There wasn't an iron in the room, but I asked for one, and it was delivered quickly. I plan to stay at the Zetter Townhouse Clerkenwell again.

Extremely poor value for the price. Shower drain completely clogged, very poorly lit, window shade could not be opened due to broken cord, air conditioner has a mind of its own. The location, which is very far from everything a leisure traveler would want to do, is terrible—yes close to a tube station but that was 12 stops away from Westminster, for example. Just a huge disappointment.

No iron or fridge in room, phone for room service did not work, room looked like a national front campaign with Union Jack everywhere (ok, thats subjective), bed was a comedy 1m high off ground. Wi fi-not given on arrival. Food and drink hit and miss: no alcohol free beer (in 2023 even weather-spoons has one or two of these), asked for side salad with burger and got one but no chips with burger, asked for some bread with asparagus and got no butter or was even asked. Finally, i was lucky to even have a room as they struggled to find my Credit card on file (via travel company) so they just cancelled my room. I had to find one on the day. All for a princely sum of 343 pounds. I have had a much better experience at Holiday Inn for 100 pounds. Wandering if they got complacent?

Lovely spot, cosy room & friendly attentive staff. Cool bar too with a wide range of cocktails on offer. Will definitely stay again at some point. Highly recommended. The bar was also a not too busy on Saturday night which was ideal.

Second time I stayed and second time they charged me twice. No hot water as the boiler had packed up was not great but in fairness a one off. The breakfast can only be described as poor and limited for the money they charge.

Zetter Clerkenwell is

A lovely and quirky bijou hotel with real character. Clean, crisp bedrooms - with everything you could want for an overnight stay. Peaceful location but with cafe's, bars and eateries nearby. Such history in this area - so was fascinated to find out more. We enjoyed our stay very much.
