This hotel is not for families!! The minute we arrived, we did not feel welcomed!! The reception staff behaviour was disrespectful to say the least, especially the female ones!!! They don't listen and their first answer is always 'No' even though the first rule in customer service book is never say 'no' to customers but must be like 'ok, I will see what I can do' or 'I will do my best'!! One strange thing is those 'see through' bathroom doors. Its not convinient for families since one can see each other when they taking a bath. The indoor pool is very small and not heated and the water is cold as a result. They also ask to wear a hair cover if you want to enter the pool, and you can buy it from them for a relatively high price!
I was just there in late November. I come to Izmir once a year, and this time, I chose to stay at the Hyatt Izmir since it was reletively new. Great choice. The rooms are the best, even better than the Marriott. The service is execellent and the breakfast was good. It's connected to a nice Mall which enables you to access to good restaurants. What separates this hotel from others is the facilities. The rooms are the best, the gym is 24 hours and fully equipped and the pool and the lobby is exellent. It does not have a Regency Lounge which is a shame but plentify of restaurants around. The view from the balcony is amazing and the service is good. We stayed in 2 rooms as family of 4 and they were connecting and beautiful. Next time, we are in Izmir, Hyatt Izmir is our choice!
From 02.09 to 07.09. 2023 we had the pleasure of being guests of this hotel. The hotel is located near historical sites, as well as metro and tram stops. The hotel is in a very quiet place. This is very important for tourists like us. The hotel accommodation was perfect as was our stay thanks to the exceptional hotel staff. These are kind and polite people who always helped us. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything a person needs. The hotel's restaurant is at a high level, as well as the food offered there. We were especially impressed by the aquariums for fish, the aviary for parrots, as well as the small garden of the hotel, where you can drink tea or coffee. I highly recommend the hotel to everyone who will visit Izmir. I thank the entire team of the hotel for the created holiday conditions and kind attitude.
訪訪客The hotel itself was a comfortable the newish hotel down a very CD side street from the main drag they have obviously tried their hardest to upgrade the hotel which they've done not a bad job the reception and entrance area is clean tidy and very welcoming it has one lift that will serve all floors which is safe but be aware there is no internal door and you will see a moving wall on one side, on entering the room you will find a key card entry system with key card electricity controlling the fridge TV and air conditioning the air conditioning is maintained very well and works officially there is one English speaking news channel within the 40 plus channels on the television until very comfortable beds although the mattress are fast as firm, the bathroom is tight with millimeters to spare to close the door against the basin the wood used in the bathroom is obviously not of the type of that should be used in the bathroom bus the condition is shabby the shower is good with plenty of hot water and complementary shower gels and soaps if there are two of you in a room it would suggest that you will ask for an extra channel as they only supply you with one there is a fridge but no minibar one word of warning there is a very high step to get into the bathroom so if you have had a hip replacement or a knee replacement or you cannot lift your leg too high this may be a problem, we would not break the housekeeping too well as when we arrived there was pastrami left in the fridge when we checked in and only one cup for the tea and coffee making facilities this was however quickly rectified and the service we received from the staff was outstanding, breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. and is over buffet style there is hot eggs turkey sausage plenty of different breads and simit, Jams honey's tea coffee and cereals, there is no parking of such but there is a concierge service that will park your car and retrieve it at a moment's notice this was highly recommended, the best way to get around is there is using the Izmir card which is available from the train station or the metro station which is just a 300 m walk from the hotel, we found this a great place to stay for a couple of days.
DDr. Dennis E. EricsonMitte Port Konak Hotel's infrastructure is very new and they have a great breakfast, they have a local variety of cheese very good pastries and some roasted mushrooms and potatoes. So big variety of jams and fruits.
Their spa and Turkish bath was closed when we try to visit normally they say it's free to use for every guest.
The room had not enough windows but the AC was working powerful to the cooldown. Only problem beds are a little small. Wi-Fi is working well. There was a mini fridge. They have safe lockers in the room. They have TV. The bathroom is very good, hot water and water pressure was perfect. Except toothbrush they provide everything.
The location of the hotel is good if you travel with your car or take a taxi but walking to public transportation is a little hard. It may cost 50 TL from the Konak Meydan to the hotel by taxi better not talk during the night.
The hotel staff was very nice to us and other guests. There are many local customers and abroad from a variety of countries from France, China, Iran, France etc.
