We had an exceptional experience at The Wort Hotel last week! We were welcomed, taken care of and wanted for nothing in our 4 days there. The location simply can't be beat! We were able to walk to every single restaurant we had reservations for. Our "Grand" room was the perfect place to spread out! We loved it so much we booked for next year before we left. Thank you to everyone at the door, behind the desk and Tara, who is a great concierge! We had the best time!

Don’t come here if you actually need to sleep and rest. Very cute hotel. Housekeeping noise was an ongoing issue they leave doors open during cleaning so they can Converse and joke across the hallway. Woke up to this noise three mornings in a row…8am, 9am, 10:20 am. I did bring it to the attention of the management. They apologized. They even gave me I hand written cards to say if they were sorry. Didnt change the noise. So I decided to pay for an extended check out last day to sleep in past noon… pay $50/hour so I could rest. However Front desk CALLED at 12:20 to woke me up to inquire “how long I would be sleeping”. There was no apology from the man that woke me up. He just kept giving excuses and was very rude. Manager stephanie got involved she apologize but really this is just for $700 a night. I could’ve slept in my car probably slept soundly.

After driving for two days we were excited to spend a relaxing evening at the Wort Hotel. Well....nothing relaxing if you call no sleep due to an "older style AC" that made so much noise it was ridiculous. I even got out of bed to speak to the desk clerk so he could hear the video I took of the noise. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and he said, "management don't like to work the weekends." To his credit, he offered to change rooms. It was almost 10:00pm, we had already unpacked and were in bed so that was a no go for us. (FYI, peak season and we spent about $800 for the night.) In the morning when we checked out, we asked for a manager. None on duty. We asked for a partial credit and was told he didn't have the authority. We then asked for a manager to call us. No phone call was ever received. We did get an email stating they would give us a 15% discount. (the email apologized for not only the AC but the bar noise and that they give ear plugs at check in if requested.) We NEVER complained about bar noise! Not OK in our book at that price! Upon our return home I reached out and asked for a bit more of a discount and was told that the 15% was generous. There are other lovely hotels to stay while in Jackson. Don't stay here if you want noisy AC or apparently, noise from the bar!

Always our first choice when visiting Jackson, The Wort never disappoints. We visit yearly with our children or as a couple getaway. The Wort offers classic and well appointed rooms with comfortable bedding. The public spaces are also well appointed in classic western and upscale decor. Two roaring fireplaces in the fall is a nice touch in the evenings. The Silver Dollar Bar serves delicious American fare and is a lot of fun after 8pm when live music and dancing occur. The hotel is centrally located in town square, offering dining and shopping only a few steps away. There is a secured area for parking when you’re ready to explore GTNP. The concierge here is always very helpful and eager to assist. Our last two stays we’ve had the Cowgirl Suite and have enjoyed the spacious accommodations. This hotel will always have a special place in my heart and I will always make it my first choice in Jackson

The hotel did not live up to our expectations given the price paid. The overall quality of the guestroom and public areas were lacking. Service, especially in the dining room was mediocre. Specifically, the guestrooms had poor inadequate lighting, the plumbing fixtures were old and needed replacement, the air conditioning units were noisy and inconsistent, the overall room quality was mediocre. The public areas were also lacking and needed updating.

Tres bel hôtel situé dans le centre avec une ambiance de montagne chic. Les chambres sont confortables, le personnel très aimable (notamment Mami à la réception qui a facilité notre séjour). Parking gratuit à proximité, salle de fitness, bar très sympa et restaurant chic situés dans l’hôtel.

I cannot believe we paid $800 a night to stay at this hotel. The room was so tiny it was hard to maneuver around. Our small window had a view of the interior wall of the building, so our room was very dark. The decor wasn’t that great- very dated bathroom (but like 90’s dated). It was a good location. I thought there would be a bigger lobby or place to hang out, but that was small too. I recommend just visiting and not staying the night.

We paid over $750 per night for this room and the service was equal to a hotel that charges $200. Everything was slightly above average but for that amount of money, I expected much higher quality of service. The history of the hotel is really cool.

Service impeccable, staff impeccable, LOVE THE WORT, we will be back for a third year. Get rid of the jazz band, you lost business at Silver Dollar. Many were looking for country and dancing. What an awesome place. STILLL, love the WORT! Cutter

Wonderful staff and lovely accommodations! The art and historic details set this hotel apart from others. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. Wish we could have stayed another night! The Silver Dollar saloon and grill are right off the lobby and had live music the night we were there. Parking around the property can be scarce but they will park your car in a secure lot nearby.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wort! The western art and bronze statues led to such a true western feel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and quite large adorned with western decor as well. The staff is fabulous, warm, accommodating, welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend The Wort Hotel to anyone!

Our stay at the Wort Hotel was fabulous. I could not ask for anything more. The room was clean and kept up to the highest standard. The staff were pleasant, helpful and accommodating. A special shoutout to Natalie and Laura for their outstanding service in making our stay there even more enjoyable. With personal like this, no won for this is a 5 star place to stay.

We were a group of family/friends in town to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff were awesome from start to finish. The housekeeping department did an excellent job, the bar/restaurant staff were efficient and friendly, front desk staff were always welcoming and super friendly. We would happily stay here again and recommend the Wort hotel to anyone staying in the area. We had a grand king room, which had a sofa/ seating area which was great for us to all get together in the evenings.
