Our 2-day stay at Ramgarh Lodge surpassed all expectations. The property's elegant charm goes beyond what its photos convey! From staff to food, everything was impeccable. Special thanks to Jagat who runs the place with a sophistication that rivals a 7 star establishment! Can't wait to return! 

Unique place!! Experience it! Historic property that is very well maintained. Staying here takes you back in time if you do not use mobile or watch TV for several hours then you will get to feel how it was decades back in remote place, especially in a hunting lodge!!

Beware it is a boring property. A lot of promises are made during booking like trekking, visiting audhi, where king used to prey etc. but most of them are a lie. Staff is courteous but ***ager here Jagat ji - looks like having holidays and enjoying this lodge for himself. I noticed him obliging his friends in the lodge with food and special arrangements. Calls are never picked at the reception. Unlikely Taj. They never provide upgrade or early check-in, late check-outs even if they have availability. They hardly care about the special occasions you might be having for the visit. Jagat ji thinks he is the king and owner of this property. I saw him enjoying in the Billiards room in the noon, which in fact is for the visitors. Overall a property with negative vibes and can be comfortably avoided for sure

Showing a glimpse of an era gone by, the Ramgarh Lodge is located on the eponymous artificial lake which has now dried up, the place has breathtaking views, sumptuous food ***y of which is grown on the organic farm at the hotel & friendly staff. Don't miss out on the antique snooker table which is still operational today & if you have kids, do get them to meet the dozen or so ducks that are on the site for kids to interact with.

What a lovely property. Well done on keeping as much of the original Art Deco features as possible. This hotel has been modernised since my last stay but I was very happy to see that the modernisation was carried out sympathetically and the charm of the original property has not been lost. The staff are always discreet and at hand to help with everything. They are a great team and a credit to the hotel. They are all part of the experience and valuable to the charm of this property. A special mention for the garden and all staff who have kept the gardens looking lovely at this time of year. From the *** who cleans the pool diligently in the morning to the smiling gatekeeper at the entrance a big Thank you from all of us. Thank you to the chef for keeping us well fed and providing us with delightful breakfasts and dinners. Gatta curry and bhindi were exceptional. Freshly made white butter and apple jam, made in house, will always be remembered at breakfasts. Waking up to the bird song in the morning and watching the sun go down in the evenings over the mountains in the distance is something that you can only get at this hotel in Jaipur. Enjoyed every moment and felt totally refreshed after our stay.

Ramgarh Lodge is one of pearl of IHCL. Scenatic view & weather works well. Complete peace away from city chaos. Perfect for rejuvenating. In addition, staff such as Mr. Shsurya - ***ager, Mr. Aashish - staff amongst other are cordial & helpful nature. Helped a lot for Hassle free check-in & checkout. Mr. Rishipal - Chef makes a day. He having solution for every food to delight stomach well. We will visit again definitely rather for longer stay.

Property is good and special mention to Mr Gyan singh who was awesome person. However i came to know two lies some staff has told to me. First As i was celebrating my anniversary i have requested for the upgrade of my room but the person on reception told me that whole hotel is booked and room is not available. On a surprise note there were only 3 rooms were occupied in the property. Second lie was we received the welcome letter in which it was written about trekking. When i inquired about it they told that due to tiger in the hills forest department denied permission for trekking for few days. However actual reason was property has discontinued the trekking before 2 years. Then why you are required to tell this in welcome letter and after that telling a lie. Food was nice and again special mention to Mr Gyan.

Horrible service— was hung up on during EVERY SINGLE CALL. For a lodge that was supposedly lodging for a king, the restaurant food was so low quality. I’ve had better food in food courts. The location was way out in the outskirts and Ubers/taxis don’t go there easily. Good luck getting a taxi arranged to take you to the airport before 9am— the staff is all asleep at the hotel, and if you’re lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone, they’ll mutter incomprehensible words and hang up on you. The bathroom amenities are extremely bare, and during some nights of my stay, I got ZERO HOT WATER from the shower.

Just once in a while, comes across a property that is so underrated and flying under the radar, that no amount of pictures seen on Instagram or online reviews have done justice to. Ramgarh Lodge happens to be one of those! We spent 4 days in this truly idyllic place - and our experience was flawless. If you are looking for a place where you can connect with nature and yourself - this is the place. The green expanse of grazing fields with its daily humdrum of sheep, deers, goats, cows, water buffaloes, camels and even the odd nilgai grazing, the numerous birds soaring in the skies - you are truly sitting at what feels like a buffer zone of a forest reserve. The Sariska mountains on the other side, just complete the picture. A beautifully kept property with a team that truly understands what it takes to make the guest feel at home. This doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like a private retreat where you are pampered like your grandma’s home. The lodge is beautifully done up with regalia from the past, the green lawns immaculately kept, the housekeeping perfectly done and the food - some of the best we have eaten in our ***y visits to Rajasthan. We stayed in the beautiful historical suite with the huge terrace, gorgeous bathroom and a 180• view to die for! We also saw some of the deluxe suites and they were all different and beautifully done up too. Mr. Jagat and his team are truly bringing alive the royal retreat with their charming hospitality. Chef Rishipal Singh is a magician in the kitchen and with his able team conjures up dishes which one can’t imagine - simple ingredients redefined. Mool Singh, Indresh, Dhyansingh and every member of the team we met, will regale you with the stories of the region - royal past, flora, fauna - and truly this is what makes the stay so special! Pixie is a delight to have around - running around chasing squirrels and just adding to the charm of the place. And before I forget - don’t bother with eating Kachori’s in Jaipur (Rawat or otherwise) - the best kachoris of Jaipur are actually made here! Throwing any calorie concerns to the wind, we ate kachoris 3 days in a row for breakfast! Life in Ramgarh Lodge is all about Eat, Relax, Sleep and repeat. It’s the perfect place to unwind and dream! To my surprise, not too ***y people know of Ramgarh Lodge and I truly feel that IHCL needs to do something about it! This is truly one of the most underrated gems in the Taj stable!
