The location of Camp E Khas resort is a bit off the main route in quiet solitude. The tents were spacious and comfortable. I do not think I have ever stayed in a place where an air conditioner and a heater as well, were provided. This was a thoughtful gesture because during this month, and particularly during our stay, daytime temperatures were high, and the nighttime temperatures were quite low, so both an air conditioner as well as a heater were required. Hotel staff have to be told to switch over from the air conditioner to the heater. The food was good. The evening entertainment was also good. With one of the lady dancer giving good performance. Nimuda singer and Kerpal dholak players were also very good. The staff was very helpful and met all our requirements. A particular mention of Mr Prem Singh, the Manager, he went out of his way to restore my backpack, which we had forgotten at the resort. The fact that the backpack was restored the next day at a place called Manavar Resort, at a distance of more than 200 KMs, clearly reflects the thought and the effort he had taken to return my backpack. Many thanks to him. The Jeep Safari was not good. The jeep ride was just that, a mad rush at breakneck speed from the resort to the sand dunes. No resemblance at all to a safari-like drive. It appeared that the sole aim of the driver was to squeeze in as many trips as humanly possible before sunset. A comfortable and nice stay.

The food was not good.The cultural music program was not good too.The intention of the driver of the safari jeep was to take more money by indulging people in quad-biking activity at the desert.

Pros: Tents: The tents provided were spacious and comfortable, with ample space. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and large. We appreciated the pre-arrangements made to ensure a mosquito-free environment, which was a major concern based on feedback from other camps. Cultural Program: The cultural program was a delightful experience, featuring traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance. Snacks were served during the performance, which added to the enjoyment. Additionally, families were allowed to enjoy drinks in the comfort at the cultural area, providing a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Staff: The in-house staff was very cooperative and courteous, always attentive to the needs of the guests. When we faced an issue with the jeep safari, the manager, Mr. Prem Singh, intervened promptly and effectively resolved the situation, ensuring a positive experience. Cons: Jeep Safari Staff: The jeep safari staff needs to be instructed on behavior with guests. Their job should be to provide an enriching experience and not just look into ways to exhort money from guests. During our safari, the driver and the person selling tokens for the ATV ride attempted to charge an exorbitant fee of ₹1250 per person. When we refused, the driver became uncooperative and informed us that we would incur a penalty if we explored the dunes. This led to a frustrating 10-minute delay, causing us to experience the camel safari after sunset and miss the sunset at sunset point. After reporting the incident to Mr. Prem, he took swift action, and we were able to book the ATV ride at a reasonable price of ₹500 per person. Although the issue was resolved, the initial experience was disappointing. Bonfire: While not a major issue, we would have preferred individual bonfires for each family. Instead, there was a common bonfire during the cultural activities. The staff explained that individual bonfires near the tents are not allowed due to safety concerns, particularly the risk of the tents catching fire. While we understand the reasoning, it would have been nice to have the option for private bonfires. Overall Rating: Despite the initial setback with the jeep safari staff, the prompt resolution by Mr. Prem and the overall positive experience with the accommodations and services led me to rate this property 4 out of 5.

Very bad experience. We stayed for 1 night here... The facilities at the place are horrible. Was alloted room no. 3 The lights don't work here... No charging... When I complained they said 5-10mins but since 2-3 hours the problem wasn't resolved. The jet spray don't work here. After repeated complaints no resolution. Worst place to stay in. Don't waste ur money here there are better places. The food is also not great. They have very limited options. It's not a luxury camp its a torture camp. Avoid!!!

We stayed here for a night. They are well staffed to attend to the guests. We found the rooms clean and uniquely interiored. The hospitality was good and also the food. The traditional folk performances were enjoyable and gave us a feel for the true Rajasthani culture.

An interesting experience. A large lined tent with adjoining bathroom and toilet section. Large bed with seperate sitting area, air con and power points. Cannot be compared with a normal hotel room or even a normal tent! About 30 tents in our section and a dinging hall and outdoor performance area with seating, snacks and meals were served while watching the performance. This was one of many camps in the area which serve as a base for camel safari, again another interesting experience. Breakfast was an all Indian vegetarian affair with very attentive staff, eggs and toast were available as well.

Excellent place to enjoy your evening with Rajasthani Cultural program, camel ride and jeep ride. Staff behaviour is excellent . More particularly Mr. Prem Singh ji and Mr Choudhary ji. Who has taken care in all step. Rajasthani traditional food is must to taste..
