傑伊瑟爾梅爾金色酒店(Hotel the Golden House)

I highly recommend The Golden House Jaisalmer; one of the cleanest hotels I’ve seen in India. Everything was very tidy and clean. The rooms were very cozy and spotless. The staff was very kind, hospitable and helped us in every moment. They know how to make your Jaisalmer experience great. Their desert package with a camel ride and a night under the stars is superb!

Cleanliness- the best thing that sets this place apart. The room and bathroom were so hygienic and well maintained that this is definitely one of the cleanest hotels we have been to. The place is beautifully decorated and gives the vibe of the heritage of Jaisalmer. The restaurant is located on rooftop and the staff takes personal care to cater to all our needs. The only negative thing about the place is lack of elevators. Those with senior citizens or physically challenged need to be mindful of the stairs. Everything else was just perfect.

Lovely haveli homestay, beautifully decorated like your own house. Owner Mr Raj is a gracious host, very helpful in recommending places to eat, shop and tours with great value. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Our group of seniors thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nite stay at the Golden House. Thank you Mr Raj for making our stay most memorable! Highly recommended to those who appreciate local lifestyle homes.

The only good thing about the hotel is the nice comfortable room. No complaints. The receptionist, if he was one, was sleeping in an alcove next to the counter. The hotel appears to cater primarily to Guajarati clientele. That it serves only vegetarian food was not a problem. The problem was the breakfast menu which remained the same for the two mornings we were there. We were offered stuffed paratha, poha and idli none of which we were able to eat. The idlis were too hard and the 'sambar' was just plain daal. The restaurant - on the roof - was dusty and we were told that the cleaning is done only after 11 am. Heaps of debris and garbage lie in front of the hotel to which the hotel itself contributes (two large garbage bins stand near the entrance).

We had an amazing stay at Golden House. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made sure all of our needs were met and the food was absolutely amazing!! Shout out to the chef who kept us well fed our entire visit :) The rooms are also very spacious and clean. Definitely a great place to stay that is close to the fort, while staying in Jaisalmer. We hope to return one day. Thank you for everything!
