皇家傳統酒店(Hotel Royal Heritage)

We had planned the welcoming of the New Year 2023 at this hotel and had great expectations since we had decided upon this hotel after going through the reviews posted at Tripadvisor. Apparently the reviews are either cooked or overrated. All investment has been made to vamp up the facade of the place. Little or no attention has been given to the comfort or convenience and sanitation or hygiene of the rooms. There is no housekeeping service available at this place. you may keep on calling at the reception but no one will pick the phone. The restaurant is few tables and chairs on the rooftop, open on all sides, with chilly winds blowing during breakfast and dinnertime. The restaurant tables are never cleaned so one is welcomed with the remnants of the previous meals. The items on the menu can be counted on the fingertips, and these too are prepared reluctantly. There kitchen is filthy. No cutlery. Overall it was a big disappointment. Our New Year celebration was marred by the hotel staff themselves binging on booze and abandoning the guests to fend for themselves.

This Haveli was ideally located with great views of the Fort from their roof top restaurant. The staff were brilliant and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived late and were met at the train station, they produced some lovely food from the restaurant even though it had technically closed for the night when they learned we hadn't eaten. All the food we had during our stay was great and very reasonably priced. A lovely low cost place to stay which exceeded all our expectations. We would happily return and stay there again.

Place with a super view of Vyas Chetri This place is right on the boundary of Vyas Chetri and as such offers a good view of the same. Do make a note that this view is available only for folks who have room on the front side of the hotel, for others it’s a wall from the next building.. Food is good and this is spoilt only by the insects and mosquitoes who make sure that your stay at the roof top restaurant is short. Again one of those hotels without lift and having 4 floors . If you have the rooms in the higher floors god help. Other than this nothing much to write home about..

Location is very good. Hotel look is also good. Rooms are good but need some maintenance likes, door stopper is missing. Furniture need to maintenance, bathroom and electric accessories are in very bad condition. Roof top restaurant are amazing but less staff is available there. More staff is needed for it. One best thing about Bathroom is hot water - newly installed geezer. I think hotel tariff is high cause of above reasons.

The hotel is very pretty with beautiful decor and view from the balconies and rooftop.The staff is extremely humble and courteous and eager to help in every way. The food was amazing and prepared as we requested. Would recommend for a pleasant and peaceful stay in Jaisalmer..... 😊👍👍👍👍😊
