Avis très mitigé. Je pense réserver une chambre dans un château pour un séjour en amoureux, mais à notre arrivée nous découvrons que notre chambre se trouve dans une petite maison en haut d’une butte à 200m du château. Ce n’est pas le bout du monde, mais qui a envie de monter ses bagages tout en haut d’un petit chemin pentu en gravillons après une longue journée de route ? Les deux maisons qui se trouvaient en haut de la butte, comme le château d’ailleurs, sont difficilement accessibles aux fauteuils roulants, poussettes, ou personnes à mobilité réduites, car les chemins sont raides et il y a des marches un peu partout. Nous avons mangé au restaurant, les plats étaient bons mais les quantités étaient vraiment insuffisantes, surtout pour le prix. La chambre était propre et décorée avec goût, mais nous avons tous les deux eu froid pendant la nuit, malgré le radiateur réglé à fond. Le personnel était sympathique, à l’hôtel comme au restaurant.

Chambre jolie mais froide et éloignée du restaurant pour le petit déjeuner qui se termine à 9 h …, moyennement adapté pour un séjour en amoureux . Le dîner était bon mais pas à la hauteur des prix demandés et la quantité est trop faible, le cadre est magnifique et le personnel attentionné, c’est donc une une expérience mitigée

A lovely venue but aweful food and service. The food took almost an hour to arrive and once it did (after having to follow it up) the meat was unhygienically raw and the expensive salad was literally just lettuce. When we gave constructive feedback the staff were not at all service minded and never came back to us with an apology or response. An expensive bad experience.

I stayed at Görvälns Slott and had such a great time! The place is gorgeous, with lovely grounds that are perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The rooms are super cozy and stylish, combining modern comfort with a touch of luxury. The staff were fantastic—friendly and always ready to help with whatever we needed. The food was a highlight, too, with fresh and delicious dishes that made every meal special. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The perfect place to get away for a night or two. It’s was my second time here and I will definitely come back. Beautiful castle with unique style and decor. All rooms are individually styled with a luxurious touch and the most comfortable beds you can imagine. The castle it self had a long and exciting history and we felt the presence of old times lurking in the background. The surroundings are amazing and there are nice trails all around the castle area. The castle has its own gardens where all the flowers come from and the flower arrangements are worth a visit just for themselves 🌺🌸🌺 the castle is an “adults only” hotel, so a perfect getaway with your partner or friends. It feels far away but Stockholm City is close by in car. 100% recommended

This is a dream come true! I love staying at heritage and princess kind of hotels, and this one ticked all the boxes for me. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the slott (castle), repurposed into a hotel, will transport you to a wonderland. The rooms are boutique and you got to stay in each one to experience it. My room had a small walk in/ welcome area before entering the bedroom. The bathroom had a heated floor. The dinner was set up outside in a closed tent and was delicious! The service all the way from when you arrive till you leave is just perfect. Just walking down to the edge of Lake Malaren in the evening will bring you the much needed solace!

A surprising experience with very unconventional decor. Impressive, whether you like it or not. Got a very nice, very quiet and functional double standard room in Villa Solbacka with fridge and plenty of storing space. Green view and comfy beds. Spectacular bathroom. 10 min walk to the 17th century castle with two stories decorated in unusual colours bridging past and present. A matter of taste but a fascinating setting. Excellent home made breakfast served in elegant saloon with high ceilings. Huge park facing lake Mälaren with many criss-cross paths, also for longer walks. Helpful check-in, otherwise mixed service.
