Chateau Vary

Très belle bâtisse, tenue par un couple aussi charmant que passionné. Endroit très calme, avec piscine bien entretenue, ptt déjeuner top servi dehors abrité du soleil pour bien démarrer la journée, service d’œuf brouillé le matin à tomber (merci Alberto) et repas du soir en table d’hôtes, dans le parc abrité du soleil couchant où l’on côtoie des voyageurs de toutes nationalités (Paul, le maitre de la maison est anglais, cela sert pour nos amis étrangers) autour d’un repas fait de produits locaux, mets simples mais très bons, cuisinés à l’ancienne… tout pour passer une super soirée. Bon choix de vins locaux et le propriétaire est enclin à vous donner de bonnes adresses. Très bons moments, le prix se justifie sans problème. Il vaut mieux passer en direct !

Parfait pour un long ou court séjour. Chambres très bien agencées, excellente literie. De nombreux espaces salons, terrasses, piscines, spa, pour s'installer et se détendre. Hôtes parfaits, prévenants et attentionnés. Table d’Hôte recommandée.

Cuando encuentras un lugar donde quieres parar tu vida y dar marcha atrás en el tiempo. Este lugar nunca sera solo "ese" lugar: ese lugar también seran las maravillosas personas que nos han recibido, acomodado siendo grandes anfitriones. Nos regalaron su historia, sus platos exquisitos a la carta y el Château Vary. Un hogar de Benedicte y Paul. El lugar para seguir conociendo.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au château de Vary. Très propre, bonne literie, bons aménagements, belle décoration. Calme. Je recommande ce séjour pour un week-end en amoureux. Bon séjour à tous.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine au château Vary en compagnie de Benedicte et Paul. Le cadre est juste incroyable et toutes les chambres ont été rénovées avec beaucoup de goût. Nous serons ravis de revenir profiter de nouveau de ce lieu. L'accueil, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Benedicte et Paul ont aussi été très appréciés. Nous étions comme à la maison et nous avons adoré les repas sur la terrasse préparés avec soins. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, les produits sont frais. Paradise is situated in Jarzé. We left this beautiful castle today and we miss it already. The owners Bénédicte and Paul are the perfect hosts. A smile on their face from 8 to late :). Great hospitality, food and wines high standing. Do not forget to ask Paul to make his “Pain perdue” or Bénédictes “Tarte Tatin” Cherry on the cake Alberto who is assisting the owners has everything to be a sommelier and a great cook as Well. Perfect place.

I cannot recommend Chateau Vary highly enough. Benedicte and Paul are fantastic hosts. They have taken on a huge renovation project which has been done with incredible attention to detail. The rooms are all en-suite and completely luxurious. They have thought of everything- right down to the selection of charging points next to each bedside table. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom really well appointed and lovely and warm. We were treated to,Paul’s cuisine which was delicious. The cottages add an extra dimension as they can be booked separately or just as additional rooms to the main chateau. A walk through the forest is essential, so calm and peaceful with the accompaniment of birdsong you could be the only people for miles. It would be the most beautiful setting for a wedding or family celebration. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place! We had six nights here after several weeks on a road trip around France and Switzerland and it was the perfect ending to an amazing trip.. A warm welcome and a beautifully comforting room with high quality furnishings and an excellent ensuite was just the start. Our hosts cooked a fabulous meal for us which was paired with local wines, carefully selected by Paul. Throughout the week dinner was always a joy. Added to the fabulous food and wine was the very sociable dining experience of all guests sitting together. We had so much fun all week with great, diverse company in wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Chateau Vary is a great base for exploring the area which has so much to offer.

This was my second painting trip at Chateau Vary. The chateau is beautiful and very comfortable. Benedict and Paul are the perfect hosts and the weather was amazing! We enjoyed delicious meals with fresh produce and local wines. A great opportunity to experiment with painting with help and advice from Mark. A lovely holiday!
