The room was double booked, so in the middle of the night, two guys let themselves into our room. After that, or room keys were deactivated 3 different times. Then, there was mold on the shower curtain. The window curtain didn't close around the window, so the flashing street lamp outside kept us up all night. The toilet clogged and maintenence handed us a plunger to take care of it ourselves. The "breakfast" was just a couple of snack items. There was only apples, granola bars, yogurt, some gas station pastry, coffee and juice. We had a10 year old with us that needed milk and a better breakfast than that. At least cereal or something. And there was no mini fridge, so we couldn't bring any left overs back from restaurants.

Awful experience. Wrong room even booking in advance. No extra blankets or cups. Dirty room and unhelpful staff. Lackluster breakfast. Everything is out dated. The water smelled like chlorine. Terrible.

I would not waste my money staying in this location - bedding and carpeting are worn, thin pillows, rooms look old and unattractive - room rates were high and location was poor - no breakfast options available

Just slightly sketchy area. Would not take my wife and kids. Breakfast was coffee, packaged oats, bread/bagel, granola bar, apples. Has an abandoned hotel next door which looks terrible.

Had a bag over the smoke decetor, room reeked of pot. Crumbs all over the couch. Generally unclean. The manager would not give me a new room or discount the room we had. He took the bag off and sprayed some air freshener.

It was very relaxing, I was checked in accuracy and friendliness and very welcoming and i was very content with privacy and cleanliness with the room. I will definitely come back when I need a motel room

The only positive about this property was the man at the front desk. He was very nice and apologetic regarding everything that went wrong with our stay. First off, we had two rooms and both of our doors were propped open when we arrived. The rooms didn't have USB ports. Neither of our rooms had any towels at all. Our pull-out couch didn't have any linens, nor were there any in the room. Our battery of our door lock went out so we were locked out of our room while we had to wait for maintenance to come from home. He did come within about 45 mins and we really appreciated it. Again, the man at the front desk was apologetic and very nice about it all, but unfortunately this hotel is very outdated and with all the problems we won't return or recommend this property to anyone. Also, the only food offered for breakfast were granola bars and apples.

Our first room had stained carpeting and curtains in disarray. Extremely dark and dismal. When we noticed the security lock was broken on the door, we asked for another room. Our second room was no better. Stained carpeting, curtains either ripped or in disarray. Stains on the bedspread, stains or water marks on the sheets. Electrical outlet hanging loosely from the wall, security lock was in place but loose on the door. Cracks in the ceiling above our heads. Bathroom seemed to be clean but the linens were stained. Very scary.

Our first room smelled of smoke. That happens, whatever. The second room had a broken door lock that the maintenance worker had to pop open with his shoulder. He then handed us the keys, and said it probably shouldn't be a problem to get out. Also, that many of the doors had this problem. We were told we probably would not get a refund, and we didn't care. We went and stayed at a hotel where we could enter and leave our room on our own. It doesn't help that its next door to an abandoned hotel that looks like its a drug den.

Place was a dump and room price was inflated due to Derby. Just a total rip off. There were stains on the bedsheets, and the carpets were disgusting. We had to shower when we eventually got home just to feel clean. Room reeked of smoke even though “non smoking”. We got up after only 5 hours of sleep just to leave.

Blood on comforter and the mist ridiculous breakfast for over $300 a night…..smh. What a rip off. The appearance when entering was clean and the staff was nice. The rooms were large and the bathrooms was clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

We thought it would be an easy and clean roadside stop before driving home. It was awful. Furniture is stained and dated, sheets didn't cover stained mattresses, and we were worried for safety since there were quite a few characters loitering in hallways and the parking lot. They offered different rooms and we declined. The manager turned hostile. We decided to just eat the costs and drive the 90 minutes home. Really terrible -- not up to any Days Inn standard I've seen.

Very clean; however, bedding was old (pillows, covers, sheets, spread.) It advertises breakfast. Breakfast consisted of coffee and a oats 'N Honey granola bar. I consider this false advertising. It was adequate for a place to sleep, but if you choose it based on free breakfast, look somewhere else.
