Jekyll Island is state owned, and as such, development of the island is restricted to only 35% of the island creating a very quiet, laid-back atmosphere. If you want to 'get away from it all,' this is the place! The beaches are relatively undisturbed, and summer is a great time to see the huge sea turtles come onto the beach to lay their eggs. This is a vacation rental that's large enough for the whole clan, yet comfortable for one or two, and it's located in the Jekyll Beach area. The home has lots of living areas, including a sunroom that's perfect for games and entertaining. The dining room table seats six, but if there are only two, just sit at the breakfast bar. Jekyll's newest wooden crossover to the beach is across the street. This house is on the west side of Beachview, and is approximately 100 yards from the beach. High tide limits beach access to ALL homes on this end of the island but "all day" beaches are just a 2 min. ride, with great parking, picnic tables and a ramp. There is a minimum rental of 4 nights required. Come enjoy the beach! Quiet getaway from life’s stresses The property is located near beach access. The neighbors were quiet and we were visited by occasional wildlife. The property suited the needs of 3 adults perfectly. The owner was very responsive and friendly.

Great Place to Stay The house was even more spacious and well-appointed than expected, and we all appreciated it. We would be happy to recommend it. The knives and pans were not the greatest, but acceptable for a five-day stay.

Great house The house was wonderful! Everything was clean and comfortable. The A/C works great! The only downside was the "beach access" across the street had missing stairs, so we had to walk down another 3-4 blocks for a beach access walkway that had proper stairs. Definitely not the property owners fault, just a miniscule inconvenience

Large Family Vacation to our favorite place! We love visiting Jekyll Island and this is our second time staying at this home! It was great both times. There is plenty of space, plenty of linens, washer/dryer, access to the beach. The air conditioner went out the first night we arrived and it was handled very quickly! Check in and Check out was easy! 100% would reccomend staying here. We may come back for a 3rd time in the next few years!
