Graziosissimo alloggio collocato nel centro storico di Jerez de la Frontera, a poca distanza da tutte le principali attrazioni della cittadina; dotato di un comodissimo parcheggio coperto a pochi passi. Virginia, la padrona di casa, ci ha accolti con grande calore e simpatia. La casa è manifestamente stata oggetto di una ristrutturazione molto ben riuscita, con un patio centrale, attorno al quale si diramano brevi corridoi, sui quali si affacciano le stanze; l’accesso alle camere avviene varcando porte finemente intarsiate con motivi mudejar. Casa di grande fascino, arredata con molto buon gusto, nella quale sono stati ricavati diversi spazi intimi per favorire momenti di socialità. La nostra stanza era molto confortevole, con un grande letto molto comodo, travi al soffitto, un capiente armadio con porte a vetri; bagno accogliente, con cabina doccia efficientissima e tutte le amenities necessarie, ed asciugamani morbidi e confortevoli. Il riposo è stato quanto mai tranquillo e rigenerante. Ottima colazione servita in maniera originale sulla terrazza, e contenuta e ben disposta all’interno di un micro-locale provvisto di un’ampia apertura, sulla quale era disposta tutta l’offerta disponibile: prosciutto cotto, formaggio, formaggini, uova sode, ampia scelta di marmellate, cereali vari, pane, caffè, latte, the, succo d’arancia, frutta di stagione. Purtroppo abbiamo trascorso alla Gitanilla soltanto una notte, ma la permanenza è stata davvero eccellente.

El sitio es precioso y muy bien ubicaco, pleno centro. Virginia es amabilísima, encantadora y siempre disponible para facilitar las cosas. Muy limpio, fresco y bonito, lleno de detalles agradables. Con aparcamiento. Un alojamiento muy muy recomendable.

Une belle surprise dans le quartier historique de Jerez de la Frontera. Quand vous poussez la grille, vous découvrez la belle demeure Andalouse .Les chambres sont réparties aux premier étage autour d un patio et les appartements sont au 2 étages sur les toits. ( attention aux marches) L appartement tres spacieux ( sauf la mini kitchinette et la salle bain un peu étroite)il bénéficie d un salon exterieur agréable arboré pour passer un bon moment. L Accueil est professionnel et sympathique. L emplacement est vraiment TOP : A 150 m de la cathédrale et du centre historique , mais l endroit est très calme .

No sabría por donde empezar pero la experiencia de llegar a un hotel tan íntimo, familiar y con trato cercano no tiene precio. El manager del hotel, Alejandro, ha sido fantástico y nos ha tratado muy bien desde el minuto uno. Nos ha explicado al detalle qué visitar en la ciudad, lugares donde comer y cenar, nos invitó a 2 copas de vino, nos sirvió el desayuno, y me quedaría corta de lo simpático que ha sido y todo el valor de las cosas que nos ha contado. El hotel es muy bonito, es una mezcla entre una casa castellana y un riad (casa patio). La habitación preciosa, limpia y acogedora. Desde luego si quieres visitar Jerez y hospedarte en un lugar con encanto, tranquilo y que te traten de maravilla, este es tu lugar sin duda.

This small boutique hotel is the best place to stay in Jerez. Virginia and Luke are the most amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We came to visit the annual horse fair and spent five days at their hotel. We had a penthouse and two ground floor rooms, the ambience and decor are really beautiful and a little bit quirky. The welcome is warm and the terrace where you eat breakfast or have a sundowner has a beautiful view over Jerez.

My husband and I only spent one night at La Gitanilla. However, Virginia was very helpful several times. She arranged for a sherry wine tasting with Jaime González at Bodegas Faustino González and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed in the suite at the top and were very happy with our room. We recommend La Gitanilla.

Fantastic place to stay in Jerez. Great location! Clean, comfortable, homely and run by the nicest people who go the extra mile to make your stay brilliant. Take morning breakfast in the roof terrace it’s great. Virginia is a fantastic host. Do it !

Another lovely stay here with Virginia and her team, if you come to Jerez this is the place to stay, great location, lovely rooms, and the friendliest welcome, we love it! Breakfast is served on the roof terrace (subject to weather) with a stunning view of the Cathedral and the Jerex roof tops. Under new management and so good... This hidden treasure in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera is so welcoming and enchanting we just aren't interested in booking anywhere else! Virginia, with Maria José run this establishment with honest friendliness, love, good will and dedication to ensure the guests' expectations are met, throughout. The accomodation is exquisite and designed uniquely to enhance the building's period features. Nothing is too much trouble there; it's like a home from home with consideration made for every possible need. Virginia's honesty bar, which includes the world famous sherry, cava and Spanish beers allows the guest to have refreshment around the clock. There's a lovely lounge area and roof terraces with views of the city from where breakfast can be eaten al fresco. Having travelled the world and seen many places from N&S Korea to the South Atlantic I know La Gitanilla is my only home from home...way over and above anywhere else. It's only a 15 minute drive from Jerez airport, with easy and very secure parking, it's a 5 minute walk from the lively and exciting city centre. How could anybody consider anywhere else? I strongly suggest anyone please try to book directly with Virginia; she replies promptly and is able to personalise your stay for the best experience. Don't bother using the 3rd party booking sites.
