The worst hotel I’ve been in. Water leaking from the ceiling. Puddles on the floor. The door would not lock. I immediately checked out. It was disgusting. In addition there was mold on the walls. To allow a guest to check in is just wrong.

Clean. Good price. Outstanding location. Meals are delicious and plentiful. Helpful staff. Large room. Problem is that room has been renovated in a substandard non workman like manner. I would stay again because I don’t mind the deficiencies and it’s a great value.

Horrible. We stayed here on previous visits (the last time in 2016) and found it plain but adequate for the price, and a good location. But after this visit, you could not pay me to return to this place. The day we arrived, one half of our bed had a bottom sheet which was too short to fit the mattress. There were 2 bath towels, and no other towels for hands or kitchen. Despite going down to ask at the desk, where they gave me towels, we had to find cleaning staff ourselves on a later day, and request a sheet which actually fit on the bed. The room was dirty- walls, light switches, sinks, surfaces. The bathroom counter was too big and left too little room for the toilet - the seat of which came off and my husband fixed- and no place to put the toilet paper except behind so it hurt to reach. The bathtub drain back-flowed up the floor drain flooding the tiny space. A light switch by the bed didn’t work. After complaining for a few days WE found a different bulb to try - but the light never worked and the desk never explained it to us. Maybe because the room’s phone wasn’t connected to anything. That we discovered after trying to call the desk to complain about being woken up by youngsters screaming up and down the hall banging and slamming doors and walls, despite our requests for them to be quiet. This happened more than once.

Lev Jerusalem This hotel is disgusting. I was there during the week of 11.7.23. The rooms are under renovation. And are dirty inside. Sheets are fairly clean, carpet dusty and room door doesn’t shut. The outside carpets on the floor, towards the elevator and back are full of cement, white dust. There’s no parking, from George street towards the hotel you’ve got to walk a lot, if your elderly, blah. Breakfast skimpy. The staff are very nice and I think embarrassed.

Staying at Hillel 11 Aparthotel but have breakfast at Lev Jerusalem Hotel. The breakfast is good. A BIG thank you to Abdullah who works so hard in the restaurant and is so helpful and attentive to his customers.

whatever you pay is too much ! what is good - not sure to be fair, this place is a dump, my room was a building site and filthy, the staff apologised and said " what can we do that is all we have" the staff to be fair were nice but all else was just unacceptable for any hotel

If location is your primary POI, then you can't go wrong with Lev Yerushalayim. It is at the corner of Ben Yehudah Street and King George, which is Ground Zero for all the kids and tourists. Easy 25 minute walk to the Kotel or Meah Shearim, or a bunch of other places. It is as central as can be. HOWEVER, the hotel itself needs work. It is in dire need of a refresher, which, to be fair, they are in the process of doing. Our room was old and worn. Functional for what we needed (which was mostly a place to sleep), but not anything I would write home about. There is some construction going on to spruce things up, which is a good thing, but didn't help us any. They offer some meals at outrageous price, which I was told (by the hotel staff) to avoid at all costs, so we did. Only a hundred other places to eat right outside the door. Overall, it was a good enough place to sleep, but don't go looking for anything else. It's not the plaza.

Abysmal hotel.Extremely Dirty. Mold in bathroom. Airvents with dust over a year old. Missing tiles. Missing cealing boards. Extremely rude staff. Receptionist Juli interrupted me numerous times during my complaint. Waving her hands about and screaming. Manager no where to be seen. Never again.

The staff is so nice and accommodating. Helpful with directions and very kind to let a guest of mine stay. Price is terrific for their location, a suite room, though not fancy is so advantageous. Location is across from Ben Yehuda and around corner form Machane Yehuda. buses and tram are steps away.

I spent four nights at Lev Yerushalayim in early May 2022.  I've been there many times before.  It's a solidly three-star hotel, whose best feature is its location smack in the middle of downtown Jerusalem, steps away from numerous bus lines, the light rail, the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall, and plenty of synagogues.   You can walk from the hotel to the Old City's Jaffa Gate in less than a half hour.           What I -- and apparently other guests -- did not anticipate was that in trying to fix up the place after about two years of covid, work was left undone.  For example, the flexible shower hose in our bathrooms had no hook to hang it on, forcing me and assume the others to crouch over in the tub trying to get enough water on to soap up, then rinse off.  The hard plastic shower door covered only 1/3 the length of the tub, so no matter how carefully I tried water inevitably got on the floor.  There were no towel bars or even toilet paper roll yet installed.            When I discussed this at the desk downstairs, a custodian who happened to be there said the parts had not yet come in.  And no, no concession on the hotel rate was offered.  When I handed to the desk the pulled off inside handle of the lobby-level door on the only guest stairway, the handle remained unrestored for three days; that dearth of action can't be attributed to a lack of parts.            When I asked my travel agent while booking the hotel why the rates had gone up, he responded that the hotel needed to recoup money lost during covid.  So for example, a breakfast cost $16 now, compared to $11 b.c. (before covid).  Yes, the breakfast is o.k., but no, nothing was upgraded.
