薩克森酒店別墅及水療中心(Saxon Hotel, Villas & Spa)

Went for just Spa & Dinner and both were horrible. My pedicure was bad almost nothing done in terms of scrubbing. I then ate Dinner a Lobster Thermidor. It wasn’t fresh plus very dry and got sick when I got home. The hotel is now outdated in almost everything except the art and landscape. The worst value for money in my life.

The Saxon is a beautiful place, with a fine collection of African art and well tendered grounds. What sets us apart, however, is the quality of the service. Staff felt like they were really focused on ensuring guests got just what they wanted from their stay, service was intelligent and personal. This really moved what would anyway have been a better pleasant stay up to an exceptional experience. The Saxon isn’t cheap, but I’d say it’s actually good value given the overall experience. Would definitely choose it when staying in or passing through Jo’burg again.

Wirklich ein 5 Strne Hotel. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Kleiner Pool. Wir hatten es Glück dass wir ein Upgrade für die Presidental Suite bekommen haben. Es war gigantisch (200 qm) Ausgezeichnetes Abendessen mit gutem Wein. Vorzüglicher Service

Superbe expérience Nous étions dans une chambre de 80m2 Splendide la deco un mélange d Afrique et de contemporain Très bon goût. Champagne chocolat fruits sec. On se sent bichonner comme rarement. Magnifique. Je crois que c est le plus bel hôtel de notre voyage. Restaurant délicieux.

Ein sehr abgeriegelter ,sicherer Ort.Eine Oase in Johannesburg. Das Hotel ist von einem schön angelegten Garten umrundet , mit mehreren Pools,Schwimmbecken .Alles wie im Märchen ,Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben eine grosse Suite bekommen , mit einem Wermutstropfen ,Der Ausblick auf dem Zimmer war quasi nicht vorhanden .Wir hatten Blick aufs Restaurant und Küche. Gefühlt ein Downgrade. Da aber sonst alles wirklich gestimmt hat Küche,Frühstück ,Dinner der Service es war wirklich alles perfekt, trotzdem alle Sterne.

Top notch from the minute you arrive at the gate! The Saxon does not leave anything behind when attending to the needs of its guests. Spectacular grounds, lobby and especially the rooms are top-notch at this hotel. The Spa treatment I received was amazing, as well.

What a fabulous hotel. My only regret was we were only staying one night. From the moment we arrived we were treated like special guests. Check in was seamless and professional. We booked through American Express and to our delight were upgraded to the Presidential Suite. It was beyond amazing, just beautiful. We were able to get an even later check-out than A/E offers, as our flight was late in the evening. We enjoyed exploring the property for the day and found it to be exceptional. We met one of the managers who told us the history of this home. Privately owned, which puts it above chain hotels in our opinion. The Coi pond was beautiful and the pool area so relaxing. We had a late lunch on the patio overlooking the pool area. It was just what we needed ahead of a couple of long flights to Tanzania. The staff was super nice and attentive, and or burgers were delicious. We are big fans of The Four Seasons, but are so happy they were closed for renovations or we would have missed this grand hotel. We highly recommend Saxon Hotel and would love to return for a longer visit.

The pillows a re fluffy and my bed was perfect, the staff welcomed me and they were friendly. The entire hotel was clean and nicely organised. I loved the view and my car was parked at a reasonable distance. They had the nicest staff and they didn't complain about me being fussy.
