After a very long flight from the US to Johannesburg, this hotel was a welcome sight indeed. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the staff was at the desk, friendly and organized, and got us right into our room. The view from the window of the greenway was lovely, but we showered and went right to sleep on the comfy beds. The hotel is quiet and secure, even though it's right in town. The next morning breakfast was varied and ample. This was a great place to start our Southern Africa vacation.

My booking could not be found even though it was confirmed via email 2 weeks before the checking date. Finally managed to be checked in after I showed the email trail. The 1 bedroom was just what we needed for the 2 nights. There were ants in the kitchen around the sink. Our room was not cleaned by 15h00, we went out in the morning and when we came back it was not cleaned. Everything else was just perfect, a safe place, no load shedding, and not far away from a shopping complex.

The room was lovely, The view was lovely, The atmosphere was lovely. Those 3 strikes made my stay a memorable experience. The hotels is near Eastgate Mall which means you do not have to go far to go shopping or to watch a movie or to have food with friends. The neighbourhood is very quiet with little foot traffic so for me that meant safety in the middle to Johannesburg.

The condition of this place is very poor. Needs to be completely refurbished. Moldy smell, old stained furniture and linen. We began feeling ill after being in the room for an hour. The moldy smell gave me a headache and my sister's asthma began acting up. We also felt uncomfortable with the neighborhood and being put on a ground floor unit. This place is like a one star motel. If you are looking for anything above 2 star, you will be disappointed. We left this property and checked into something much nicer and in a much better area. This place originally may have been named Courtyard but it is not that name any more.

Good service. Easy check inn even though we arrived late. Hotel rooms are spacious and well equipped. Ours had a fridge and microwave as well as a balcony. Good convenient location. Breakfast is adequate. A great place for an overnight stopover or tour Johannesburg

Absolutely beautiful location in a Brilliant environment with well trained and experienced staffs providing best hospitality. it was truly above my expectation. Not far from O.R Tambo int Airprt and the famous eastgate shopping mall .......

The housekeeping services are terrible. Its now 14h30 and the rooms has not been cleaned. No concern whether there's toilet paper or clean towels. Absolute disgusting.. have to request room to be cleaned

Excellent location near the airport, private and safe area, cosy and clean rooms, tasty food, best breakfast and the friendliest staff. A must stay place especially for business travellers. Staff ensures that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. A must try hotel for those looking for a simple, private and clean place to stay.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Rooms have enough and in-condition facilities and the bonus is the mini kitchen and little lounge, it makes the whole stay feel homely. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter forgot her books and pencils and we wrote to the Hotel and the books were found and given to someone we sent to pick them up, really loved the honesty there. A lil more variety can be added to the breakfast menu but food is well prepared and delicious. Had the best chocolate drink there! Would really come back again and also try the Courtyard.

Very peaceful pleasant place.Friendly staff.Close to the airport,mall and some consulates. Safe and relaxing to take a walk in the yard at night.Tasty food.Free water station. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very spacious.Would definitely stay here again. The 1 negative is the unpleasant smell from the nearby stream or swamp which makes sitting on the balcony or outdoor dining area unpleasant.Incence or potpourri may help mask the smell.
